I ate at this restaurant a few nights. The prices were okay. The food was good. I'm not sure if thats the exact name of it, Comida de Typica Costa Rica. It's something like that. The Crazy meats dish was excellent. The spaghetti was good too.

"Comida de Typica Costa Rica " simply translates to typical Costa Rican food

Doubtful that was the name of the restaurant or soda. Can you give some idea of where it was located, prices, etc?

It's around Avenida 2, and Calle 10 or 12 around that area. It's on the end corner of the block. You can't miss it.

Is that the place that is built to resemble an old rustic rough wood building?

I believe that Nuestra Tierra is around Calle 9 (the odd side) not Calle 8. It is a great place. I took a local that I met, and she enjoyed.

Nuestra Tierra is on Calle 15 (east side of town). The restaurant I believe Terminator is referring to is near Cathedral La Merced and Hotel Talamanca (west side of town).

I like Nuestra Tierra. I always get the steak special [forget what they call it]. It's a large sirloin steak, surprisingly very tender. It comes with a baked potato, salad and plantains.....about $18.....plus a $2 tip .

It's not Nuestra Tierra. I pretty sure it was something towards the name I mentioned before. I saw it on the menu. It does resemble an old wood building, inside too.
