I was doing some research for my 2 websites and I happen to run across this valuable little tool. So, I plugged in our favorite website to see what information I could come up with. Indeed, according to this web tool, women vistors do come to the site. However, if you look at the Audience Composition Chart, it shows a 0% for site addicts. An addict is defined as someone who comes to the site 30+ times a month. However, as I look at the demographics chart, I am guessing it is pretty accurate. Interesting stuff.

I'm not sure of the complete intent of the original poster. However, he does make mention of women on the site. I don't know how hard that is to figure out. I just ran across that tool and did some research. It shows, according to those stats, that women come to the site. That is simply all I am trying to convey.

PS. According to the definition of addict, I qualify.

You would be shocked to see how much information from profiling can occur, and some clever math and data mining/manipulation can begin to estimate the demographics of site visitors. Far from an exact science, but IP addresses connected to a form you filled out one day and voila.. they know where you go. They can estimate total visitors and apply algorhythms based on the demographics of a subset to estimate the whole. Maybe off on a site by site basis but shockingly accurate when you start to aggregate large data sets by type of site, etc.

But how can you ask Admin1 to stop them? Do you want biometric logins? Retina scans? Test for a y chromosome and then hit enter? I lack an idea how we can stop them from coming here except to STOP TELLING PEOPLE it exists, unless it is someone who is ready to be a VIP member.

Only thing I can think of is to make it a pay site. There's a lot right and wrong with that. Perhaps a pay section and a non-pay section? Women can loonies can still pay... back to square one...
