Dear CRTers and especially Admin:

It would be a shame to see this board morph towards the Craigslist situation, but it also seems very worthwhile to have members/posters in the business.

Going out on a limb here, but maybe there could be another sort of membership - say "CRT Commercial" for independent providers. She could pay her membership fee and then undergo a limited background investigation. Maybe there could be an informal "panel" of some of the more senior members who actually sample the service and then vote to determine if she is granted a membership.

I have been on boards in the past similar to CRT but relating to Canadian opportunities. Several of the ladies were regualr posters, and the guys really seemed to like the arrangement.

When the ladies go more public like this I think they would be more concerned about reputation and would be more likely to provide good service.

IMHO, anyone who advertises for their business, should pay for the advertising. If this is really a she (who really knows in cyberspace), she didn't even pay the $39.00 to become a VIP, and then gets free space to advertise for her business. I don't see how this is fair to SL, ZB, or the others who advertise, support, and I assume pay for the privilege.

Seem's like a pretty slippery slope in several areas. While I wish her the best, when this site becomes a Craig's List, I will no longer offer my monetary support. Oh wait, I just signed up for a lifetime membership. Forget that!!

3. ask to be recommended to others.

IMHO… No, let’s not become a “Craig’s List” that is a worst case scenario. But a decision has to be made by Admin 1 on the future here. A look back at the original business plan and either an update or a continuation is now necessary… sorry Tomas.

We have a very successful board, but we now have become a known presence in SJ, we need to use this to our advantage, not let it become a negative. If some Chica’s are savvy enough to monitor and post here, lets use it to our advantage. Paid advertising is one aspect, but not all business posters or sponsors do advertise. But they do GIVE A CRT DISCOUNT for the posting of their business. This is a posted discount to posted regular rates, no false discounts. I would suggest pics, posted prices and CRT discount should be a requirement, this would keep it to a minimum in itself.

But to run a larger board may not be in Admin1’s best interests, I’m not sure if he wants this to become a full time job and all that goes with it.

Not having this site become a Craigs List in it's current form is an issue. However to think that Chicas are not members of this board would be a mistake.
There are many bright ladies out there that are familiar with CRT, the importance this can be to their business and know how to join this site.
Over the years we have talked about Chica Radar with their ability to know when we are coming down. Many chicas know our handles and we almost always post when we are visiting. On 2 occassions this happened to me and it happened to Jimmy#'s. It took me awhile before the light went off.........they monitor the board.
I am not bothered by this at all but just wanted to mention this to everyone.

I say THUMBS DOWN to chicas on CRT, kick her ass back out the door along with any other chica-rats we find scurrying around in here.

Now does that chocolate massage have a happy ending?
