I used them from the airport over Memorial Day. I was the only passanger. I don't think many people are taking advantage of this service. I think if business doesn't pick up, they may end their airport service since they can't be making much charging $6/ride when there's only 1 passenger usually.

Very easy and just as fast as a taxi once you get in the van. As you're exiting the terminal, you'll see a guy with a sign with your name on it. He'll call the van and in about 10-15 minutes you are off.

I will definitely use them again.

Anybody have internet contact info ?

Maybe it's just luck, but I have used Interbus on my last four trips from airport to downtown and have always been the only one in the van. Hard to beat for $6.

Used them myself - no problems at all but like many of you I was the only one on the bus.

TAKEN FROM MY TRIP REPORT:

"I booked Interbus...great cheap service. $6 gets you to your hotel from the airport. You cant beat that price. Even though my flight arrived 45 minutes late, there was an interbus representative waiting for me there and I was on my way to my hotel within 5-10 minutes. I had only one issue with them. My last day in C.R. I stayed at one of the suites in Zona Blue. I called Interbus to inform them where my pick up should be and they told me they will not pick up from ZB. That morning I had to take a cab from ZB to Castillo for my scheduled pick up. Just a minor inconvenience for a good service. Make sure you book online at least 48 hours ahead of time. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 4 outta 5 stars

I just booked interbus for my next trip, Love there service, walk out of the airport and the guy has your name on a board. calls for the van, since I am a smoker, just enough time to get that much needed smoke before speeding off to the hotel.

Anyone have good luck on Interbus for the trip TO the airport. Isn't their policy to pick you up 4 hrs early?

Mrmrmrm,

Someone reported the policy of a pickup 4 hrs before departure. I have not confirmed it, you may want to inquire with Interbus directly.

I never used them TO the airport, but I remember somebody else posted that you can arrange a later pick-up time with them. You would probably need to email (or call) them.

Before I started renting a car, I would just take a regular red taxi, and negotiate a fare, usually 6,000¢ (~$12). You may even be able to get it down to 5,000.
