First and foremost I want to thank all of you for your insight and stories. I have been sitting here for hours reading tons and tons of stories. I'm new to the whole scene and can't wait for my first trip to Costa Rica. I'm trying to talk my friend into coming but if he doesn't I'm going by myself.

I have a few questions left unanswered. First.

Is it safe to go to CR alone?
Is 3k enough for 10 days (including airfare/hotel) or should I cut my trip down to 7 days?

How do you guys in their 40's and 50's bang 3-5 chicas a day? Do you carry Pez Dispensers around with Viagra? Cause I'm a fairly in shape 26 year old and I don't care how hot the chicas.....5 times a day is work. I'm not going to Costa Rica to work.. (I'm sure I'll change my mind when I land.)

And last but not least, is anyone going around this time frame (schedule is flexible) to help a very down to earth, easy going guy out on his first CR experience.

Welcome aboard. There will be CRT'ers around during the first week of Feb for Superbowl weekend. We usually fly in on Thursday or Friday and then leave after the SB on Mon, Tue or Wed.

I'd recommend 7 days for your first time, 10 is just too much. I did 10 days/9 nights my first trip. After 7 days, I was bored. I was forced to do tourist crap (canopy, ATV's, rain forest, etc) just because I was sick of phucking. Yes, you heard that right. I was burnt-out.

Travelling solo... a lot of guys go solo. You can meet CRT's down there. SB week, there will be plenty of available wingmen. Join VIP, you'll get discounts in many businesses from sessions to food. I would recommend getting around town with a wingman, even during the day. It's relatively safe, but I'm cautious and safety in numbers. Taxis everywhere at night, NO walking around at night.

Budget... depends how deep your pockets are, your preferences (massage parlor or Del Rey), etc. Air s/b around $500 and hotels can vary from $15 to $150, but let's say 60/night ($420 for 7 nights), exit tax $26, taxis from SJO to hotel $20, taxi back $20... That's a $1000.

Now for the good stuff. You gotta plan $100/session at DR these days. How's your Español You can sometimes negotiate less. MP's average $40. One of each daily is $140 x7 = another $1000.

Don't forget to eat and drink. Figure $50/day for food and drinks (non-alcohol). And then there's the booze. You may take a trip to a strip club, so figure at least a hundred there.

Don't believe everything you read. When guys say they had 5 chicas per day, most do not have 5 separate sessions where they C*m each time. They may do a threesome or foursome and count that as 2 and 3 girls, respectively. Plus, they don't always C*m in each session. Don't get me wrong, some guys can pull off 5 shots a day, but despite what they claim, most can't.

$3000 (really $2000 without air/hotel) sounds good for 7 days. The figures I gave you were over estimates, you probably won't spend as much.

3000$ should be plenty of cash unless you go insane, and/or stay at one of the more expensive places.

I usually spent around 300$ a day, but I would pick the 7 day trip for 2 reasons. First, why budget yourself to exactly X amount of cash per day. This way youll likely spend in around 300$ but if you want to go a bit nuts one day, you can on your 3000$ budget. 2nd, it really does get boring after 7 days. After about a week, without a wingman to do things with in the daytime, I found myself pretty bored at times

I think I will cap my vacation at 7 days and honestly I'm only going to Phuck probably in the evenings.

I'm sure I can find some actualy massage places for 30-40/hour with no actual intercourse, massages are nice after an all day fishing tour.

Once again I might change it to superbowl weekend, I've noticed its the expensive season during this time frame. Which in turn creates more demand and less supply increasing these girls prices...maybe I should go in the off season...where customers are slim

Good call on the timing- you should hit San Jose during the rainy season to get a "taste" of the city. You like it then return in February for a week (and it seems everyone likes it).
