TO be completely honest, I wouldn't really mind paying for that. There is no harm in that as long as you are not living with the illusion that monogamy is part of the equation.

In case you haven't figured it out, monogamy is not really in play in Costa Rica weather you are with a pro or a non-pro. So what is the big deal? As long as you know the score. As long as you are not expecting monogamy, then what is the big deal? I sure as hell am not monogamous. I like the fact that they aren't into monogamy in Costa Rica. People have a lot fewer hang-ups about sex. That is a good thing in my book. The American way of looking at things (as indicated in the title of this thread) is not really relevant in CR. As stated above, it is a lot less stress and a lot less pressure when you don't have a woman that is focusing all of her attention on JUST you. Who wants that? I sure as hell don't! It’s a pain in the ass!

I myself do my best to fall in love at least once each trip. What he's trying to make clear is that you need to keep the reality of what the relationship is close at hand so that you can reach out and grab it when necessary. Too many guys lose track of all the things you're talking about. They forget where they are who they are with and what they're doing.

I think that is true in most cases, Berk. However, I have a novia in San Jose. I go down to see her whenever I can. I DON'T pay for sex. However, I do help her with her rent, food, etc. I also had to pay for her son to get braces. However, it doesn't matter as she loves me and only me!!

Oh... but Mr. Jim you do pay for sexo. Stop footing the bills and see how long the love lasts. DR or no DR chica it makes little difference.
