Gentlemen,

I want to thank BKTUNA for his efforts in creating a successful and truly fun weekly event over the past couple of months. Its unfortunate we have to suspend play for now. We are looking into obtaining permits to hold these kinds of events, however I am sure that even if this is possible it will take some time. This is not just a Costa Rica thing; even in the States some kind of a Poker or gaming permit is required to run card games.

Good news,

Juan and Unal have graciously agreed to let us run the Sunday tourney at the Amon Plaza Casino. If you do not know hw to get there go to SL and I will have someone there to take you over there.

Glad to hear it is still on. Had sorta become a Sunday ritual around here. Have to say thanks to BK and TrueSportsman for hosting/organizing the game and sorry it had to be moved but is totally understandable.
I was worried when I saw it was cancelled as I knew that'd be a cramp in VBs new habit of a cien at DR :shock: :roll: :D

For those of you that do not know how to get to the Clarion Amon Plaza Hotel.

I am assuming all of you know how to get to Zona Blue 8)

The Amon Plaza is one blok down the hill (Norte) from Zona Blue.

From the SL walk west to Zona Blue and then make a right and go one block.

The game is in the casino which is in the lobby. See you all there.

We had twenty players for the Sunday tourney at Amon Plaza. Juan and Vegas Bob chopped for 1st and 2nd with Juan in the lead. Gary polaced third. We were able to keep the dealer fee at $3. This will be our new home from now on. The Paradaiso casino team did a nice job for us. We now can have up to 40 players.

I am taking reservations for next Sunday.
