Gents,

It's been a long time coming, but I finally got the visa approved for my friend and I will be flying to Costa Rica on July 3 to pick her up. We will stay at the Sportsman's Lodge on Wednesday July 4th, we figured it would ring poetic to have our last night be where she met me while bartending there.

Anyways, due to the fact that she has to stay in the U.S. for quite some time (up to a year) without leaving, that means, of course, that I will be absent from the next 365 days' of fun and activities in Costa Rica.

I'm hoping many of the old friends I've made over the years are coming in for the long holiday weekend, I'd love to have my last few jagerbombs in Costa Rica surrounded by "Goodfellaz" and "Sexy Bitches" alike.

So here's to one last night in paradise... and the first rounds on me. I look forward to seeing everyone on the night of July 4th.

Bill, make sure the Jager's cole and there's plenty of Red Bull.... Who's getting sloshed with me?!?

What kind of visa did you obtain? I've heard of fiance visas but that they are only good for a couple months.

A fiance visa is good for 90 days. The couple has 90 days to get married once the person on visa arrives in the US. If they do not get married, he/she has to return to her home country after the 90 days is up. If they do get married, there may be a one-year period where the person on the visa cannot leave the US. I think that may be what Ruffnutz is referring to, but I'm not 100% sure.

Orange got it right.. 90 days to make a decision. Up to a year to come back.
