The minute you stop paying them and stop tipping them the "like" fades away. I lived in PI and Taiwan for years at a time and was well "liked" when the fleet was not inport but when the Navy arrived, I was a cheapskate. I knew the deal and they know the deal. You are paying for a service. Play the game but know it is just a game. I had steady GFs overseas but see how long they stay when the $$$ fades. Thats the true test. Give it a try. Tell her you like her company but don't want to pay her or "help" her wih a "sick" relative. That the both of you should have a session cuz you like each other. I have gone from "endless Love KO" to "butterfly"in a heartbeat. Stay grounded and enjoy the fun or truely date a local with all the rituals that entails. I bet in the end you prefer the business side.

That has to be the most defetous thing said on this board Who died and left you the CR rule maker. I have tipped and been thought of as a great guy by the ladies of the night in CR. And I am Damm proud of that statement

Women all over the world respond to money. The richer you are, the more they like you. This is true all over the world!

In Costa Rica, all Gringos ARE rich. Maybe we are not rich by Gringo standards, but by Tico standards, we ARE wealthy.

The big mistake is to think that CR women are any less genuine than any other woman because they respond to wealth. This is just not the case. What is different is that WE are not used to being treated as wealthy because by Gringo standards most of us are not.

The real lesson in all of this should not be how fake CR women are because they respond to money (because that is obvious), but rather the real lesson is just how fake Gringo women are and their pretense.

Very good insight . Very true if women in the US know you have a large amount money they can be extremely fake and act just like the women in CR. But I wouldnt generalize to all gringas, just the gold digger ones which to be fair is a majority of the girls on the single scene.

Please excuse my cynical nature, but when it comes down to it, aren't we all just "tricks" when it comes to dealing with women? As soon as we fall in love with any of them (pro or non pro), they immediately have the upper hand.

The biggest "Trick" of all is getting married to Gringa in the USA. Talk about getting screwed! The way the laws are set up in the USA, there is not a bigger screw job of men anywhere in the world.

I got half of my wife's retirement in our divorce, although I have a higher yearly income. I waited until the K*ds were over 18. Talk about a pissed off Gringa. I will remain happily divorced.
