i tried that and they take one look and keep walking or they ignore me if i approach them and give me excuses oh there are some that come up to me but those ive learned are the mechanical ones or just ugly to me

First attemped I said Hi and she walked away, so just played it cool and waited. Bumped in to her again and just said "Diablo que bonita", but didn't stop I just gave her a look. She smiled and soon after kept giving me the look, and I new it was on. Approach, made the deal and turns out she was one of my best experiences in CR. DAMN do I miss this Colombiana

Tin- I'm Puerto Rican and I wasn't rebuffed in any kind of way. I mean I guess I'm confused because if they thought you were a tico, didn't that change after you talked to them?

At the same time, after talking to those girls sometimes they let me in on the grind they face, and let me know how others had a choice on who they went with. They asked me how to call a guy a jackass and other various english words that weren't necessarily nice.
To say there's a few chicas in the DR that are jaded would be an understatement. But as a monger, to not realize they have a choice as well could be a bit naive..

I'm going to bitch about this again. I was refused by two out of three girls at the HDR because of my blindness. Hey, my money is green, I speak pretty fluent Spanish, am clean and have been told I'm attractive, including having a pleasing voice. So what gives?

Yes, many ticas (less with other nationalities) are racist. And while BKTuna's comments about the gringo supermodelo are humorous, there's a large grain of truth in what he wrote.

Another thing we're facing at the HDR is burn out. Many of these girls started hooking four years ago or so, when there was less business/fewer tourists coming into the HDR.

I still say for the adventurous and street-smart, there are a dozen better venues for renting pus$y. than the del Rey/Key Largo.

Well we all have to remember it is their choice. Look for the ones that give you the vibe. A comfortable chica is usually more fun than lets say a chica thinking "Please lets get this over with so I can clean myself and get away from you" There are always other options.

As far as the other stuff is concerned I can only speak from my own experience. What I was saying earlier is although these girls are all sluts, they are still humans. My point is I personally found that after talking to many of the girls from DR/KL and even ZB, that they see it as a job and with that comes the inside jokes they will say to each other, or nonchalant attitude they will have for the day. I know I've had my share of days I didnt want to come to the office and my work has reflected it.

I still say you can talk to them as nice as you want, if you arent having conversation at all outside the norm, everything that becomes you is a job to them. For example if you could straight up just talk to this fine ass columbiana with no boundaries to your spanish vocabulary, then you would know almost with certainty which girl to accost and which not to.

It was something to hear girls talk shit about guys right in front of me sometimes. I get the impression that they think most gringos going there almost have to in order to get laid. Sadly, how true is this?
So it can be really different all together being able to talk and connect with them, then later taking it to the bedroom. But dont get me wrong, they will also take the very nice, polite, pu*sy whipped acting, guy to the room as well.
I'm just saying they are every bit of "gringa" in thier own way. Again, I say this only from my experience which isnt much (1 trip) but trust me when I say being able to understand everything bumps me up a few trips....
