was wondering if anyone knows the dates this year

They canceled the festival of lights this year. It was in La Nation a while back.

I'd find it hard to believe they would cancel the Festival de luz Zman, are you sure?
The festival started on 12/16 (Sat) last year so probably 12/15/07 ?

Hard to imagine given Mayor Araya's commitment to revitalize downtown San Jose and to keep traditional festivals alive and flourishing.

Have read nothing about a cancellation in any of the English language media, Tico Times, AM Costa Rica, Inside Costa Rica, which it would seem would have picked up on a story like that.

The Festival de la Luz 2007 takes place December the 15th.

I have been wrong before but I am almost positive I read in La Nation that is was canceled due to lack of funds.

Remember it was almost canceled last year for the same reason.
