If anyone knows, what would people in SJ make a month if they had a legit job?

That thread is about two years old so there have been government mandated increases in salary over that period. Figure the wages scales have risen 10 to 12% but inflation has risen over 20% in that same period so the Ticos are in fact, for the most part, worse off then two years ago.

Now that the colon has stabilized Gringos who live on dollars, either through pensions or investment income, are also beginning to be effected by inflation as the adjustment in pensions and most investments is pegged to the US inflation rate which is much lower than the CR one. When the colon was being systematically devalued gringos were mostly unaffected by CR inflation.

No to the job Jimmy, was just wondering how wealthy the working girls are compared to the people that work for living with regular jobs. See you pissed off a guy in Medellin; so much better than your old DR hangouts. Hope you didn't bring the Jayman to Medellin!

Irish Drifter, thanks for the update; how do these people survive?

In the Del Rey I was able to get the ticas for about $40 from 3-6 in the afternoon because they tell their parents that they work in restaurants. At night I could get them for about $60.

Seems like some guys at the Mansion like to make believe they are on their honeymoons with chicas that love them. If our noice level was too loud, it was one guy with a television to loud, he would have lowered it like he did when the guard came over.
