Mother-daughter team face questions in Japanese job offers
By the A.M. Costa Rica staff

Investigators detained a mother and daughter Thursday and said they were soliciting Costa Rican women to go to Japan to be prostitutes.

The women had placed an ad in the Spanish-language daily La Nación seeking tall, slender women with long hair to be hostesses in a restaurant in Japan with a $3,000 to $4,000 monthly salary, housing and tips.

Agents with the Judicial Investigating Organization said they became aware of the business in October when a Costa Rican woman was returned by immigration in Japan. She had been recruited here.

The detained women were identified as Xinia Calvo Chávez, 54, and her daughter, Melissa Calvo Calvo, 24. Agents also are seeking to question another daughter, Gabriela Calvo Calvo, who is in Japan.
Agents do not know if any women actually managed to get into the Japanese workforce. They said they know that the restaurant cited by the women does not exist.

Six women at least had replied to the ad. Four decided not to go to Japan. Two were detained there by Japanese immigration, which assisted in the case, said agents.

The pair here were detained Thursday in Gravilias de Desamparados for investigation of human trafficking, said agents. The women also used a location in Sabana Oeste where they would interview respondents to the ads, agents said. The locations were decorated with Japanese scenes and photos of Latin women in Japan.

At the locations agents confiscated photos, resumes, a computer and other documentation.

The women were freed on their personal recognizance later Thursday.

ID,

In late 2005, I met a stunner from SL by the name of Gabriela (aka Gabi). She is one of five gorgeous sisters. Before I returned in February, 2006, I tried to contact her, but failed in my attempt. I was told through the grapevine, that Gabi was now in the "Land of the Rising Sun" chasing "small d*cks with big bucks." I wonder if she is the same "Gabriela" :?: :?:

Sounds like a real possibility. What ticked me of this was happening in my own neighborhood:

The funny thing is is that if we were in Japan(Westerners) and ran across one of these tica's she would be off limits to us. Yes men in Japan do not want to follow Westerners. Its almost impossible for you or I to be successfull in the P4P scene in Japan. There are very few establishments that catter to Westerners.

In Bangkok Thailand there's a street named Thaniya just east of Patpong's 1 and 2. I walked down the street and was amazed at all the stunners. I noticed that they all seemed a little snooty. Then a man approached me and told me that I was on the wrong street. These ladies are for Japanese only. Damn I felt discriminated against. Thank god for Patpong's 1 and 2.

Note: This is not meant to offend any persons of Japanese ancestry who may be members of CRT. I'm just telling how it is.

I once popped into a karoke bar in Taiwan just looking for a beer. These five knockouts sitting at the bar all sang in unison "hhheeeellllloooo!!!" and I thought I might have found heaven. So I sat down and waited for the waitress. Then the manager came up to me and said "we only serve the Japanese here." Dang. I was kicked out back into the street.

The worst part is I have a thing for Japanese cuties. I knew a guy who was stationed in Japan after WWII and at one point he told me he lived in a Japanese brothel for a month. The stories he told me were just unreal. And they like em young over there. I'll leave it at that...

A Colombiana in Bogota and a French Canadian in Niagara Falls told me they they had worked in Japan. They claimed to have been treated well, but both said they were expected to see eight or more guys a day. They liked the money but would not go back.
