A cabbie once showed me a place outside the city(about 10 minutes from DR) that looks like storage units with a security gauard at the entrance. You pull into a garage and it has an attached bedroom with porn and jacuzzi tubs. A red light and buzzer sounds and you pay through a trap door and they give you a couple drinks. Was a pretty sweet set up actually cept the lack of A/C .I want to take my buddies over to check it out. Anyone know the name of it? I think we passed Kamur on the way to it but I wasn't paying that much attention.
Think it was like 7k colones or something.

Maybe you can find a taxista who knows of a cheaper place than Eden. I know of one in Pavas and have heard of some in Desamparados which most likely would be cheaper even taking into account the taxi ride.

Eden gets the most play because it is so close to the gulch. They use to charge a flat rate for the room not per girl but evidently changed their policy.

pretty sure it was 25 bucks not sure for how long though. Loy Loy is right there too , but its a s-hole but I know its super cheap. Least all the rooms have their own bathroom(shower only), no A/C and no T.V.

A BM chica told me about motel Paraiso near the gulch with jacuzzi rooms for 10k, not sure where it is, anyone else heard of it? If your in SJO now you might try looking in the yellow pages if the taxi drivers don't come through with some better options.

you mean the yellow book in the hotel room that has 1 outta every 20 places your looking for and 50 percent of those numbers are wrong, disconnected or belong to someone else I figured ticos kept them books in case they ran out of toilet paper.

Good one F-Boy, that post qualifies for the "muy Tico" thread. I had a bad experience at Eden but YMMV, they charged me 15k X 2 since I had 2 chicas, then the taxi driver tried to rip me off also. The rooms are nice but not worth that for short term.
