Does anyone happen to know the going rate for a standard room at the Hotel del Rey? Is it about the same price as the SL? And do they have the gringo rates that some hotels have in latin america?

I don't know but on my first trip in June 05, my friend and I wanted a couple of rooms in the gulch to get away from our dirt-infested rented house, so we asked at reception and were quoted $110 for single rooms or $188 for some kind of larger double room. :lol:

You probably want to book in advance.
