well bussiness is taking me to cartago for a few days and i'm having trouble locating rooms.i've done seaches here but still no luck. any info would be much apreciated. chica friendly or not is fine . also is there any internet cafes in cartago too..

If you stay near "mercado central" in Cartago you will find many internet cafes near that area. As for hotels, they really do not have many. But, I do know of one. It is called "Hotel San Francisco." It is chica friendly, although you will not find much in the way of P4P in Cartago. (Please be careful of the "hotties" walking near mercado central at night. I'm not sure they will be your type, if you know what I mean.) Rate, last I knew was 10,000K/night. Hotel San Francisco is also located near the Mercado Central. Maybe 100 yards, max. A bonus to Hotel San Fran, is that it is located on a second floor. Down below is an adult video shop. San Jose taxi drivers may not know how to locate Hotel San Fran but any driver in Cartago will know it, particulary the guys at the "taxi collectivo" near the mercado central.

The only P4P place I know of in Cartago is Bar Royal. It is a freakin' dive. Chicas are maybe 3's and 4's, but the price is right. It's like 5K colones for full service. Most all cabbies in Cartago will know the place. If you take a cab from San Jose, that driver will likely not know it. If you stop in tell Tonio the manager that dapanz says hello.
