I am staying at the Del & Sportsman for 10 days next week.
I was wondering if I brought a moderately cheap guitar with me,
it would be allright in my room .
Let me know guys.
Stratone ( Stratocaster Tone ) for those of you that wondered. :)

I've brought an acoustic down with me a few times, but after it just sat in the closet several times stopped doing so. Anyways, there should be no issues with leaving it in your room - or no more so than with any other of your belongings.

I would think the security at SL is good enough to keep your guitar. That's my opinion. If you are staying in the old wing there's not much opportunity to walk out unseen although I suppose it could happen. The new wing might have a rear exit that someone could walk out with a guitar I suppose. If such a rear exit exists and is unlocked someone would have to see it in your room, get in there to get it, get out the back door, then have presumably a car waiting or some way to get it from SL to wherever they would take it. It would take some balls, not just opportunity. So, it seems pretty unlikely to happen.

Isn't 10 days a pretty long week? :P

Strange question. How can one get bored enough in SJ to want to spend time strumming on a guitar? I'd rather be strumming on some hair pie. :D

Hey Stratone,

I just got to San Jose. See you tomorrow night bud!

I've brought my guitar twice before and had no problems. After playing with a chica or 3 in a day sometimes you just have to do something else and re-load...

Bring your cheap guitar!

Stratone, if you're a GFE guy what better way to loosen up a chica than a little serenading before business? Word is it will even melt some ice off the hearts of the hardest Colombianas, especially if you know a couple songs in spanish. Bring it, besides you can always earn a few colones playing on avenida central.
