Usairways has a weekend special. Leaving Saturday and returning Monday or Tuesday. From Charlotte to San Jose is $199 each way and through Boston it is $184 each way. There is another flight to Liberia Costa Rica from Newark New Jersey for $189 each way. I hope someone takes advantage of it I can't this weekend. Tux

I just checked the Boston to SJ prices for the weekend of May 12th to the 15th. It's $347 going and $184 for the return for a total of $531 plus taxes. I did Saturday thru Tuesday as you suggested.

If you choose show the lowest fare option rather than schedule you will get the $184.00 + 184.00 +72.90 (taxes & fees) = $442.90

just booked ....230 each way 460.00 with tax 531.00 no deal ..i would say but i get sky miles and that will equal a free trip soon....i just hate flying north when i am going south (florida to char. to san jose ) but everytime i have flown us air they have been on time (i am sure that will end now that i have said it )

I just checked Continental out of Newark and they are advertising $410 plus tax. Which is about $450 dollars. Still not bad in my opinion. I would like it to be less but I have p[aid up to $800 at different parts of the year. Tux

Too bad yall don't have TACA flying to your city. I just booked a $406 (includind taxes) round trip from Dulles to San Jose. Best deal I have seen. American Airlines is also running a deal but turns out to be about $450 after taxes.
