I've done about 10 trips to CR in the past few years. My first choice is usually the Presidente, however my trips are usually last minute due to job constraints, and as most of us know, they are usually booked several weeks in advance.

I stay at Amon Plaza as a second choice and have always been able to get a room within a few days of my arrival. Anyway, on my last visit in January, I booked a Junior Suite at the CRT rate through Nixon via email and he quickly responded and I was on my way, rather smooth as usual.

I arrive on a Thursday morning and the front desk tells me they don't have a reservation under my name. I find Nixon and he apologizes for the mix up however he does not have a Junior Suite for me. I'm a little annoyed but not really a big deal and I settle in a regular room.

Fast foward to this week. Same drill, Presidente is booked, I email Nixon, mentioning the mix up last time and told him I was giving them another shot. He in turn emails me back apologizing for the last time and assures me it will not happen again. He in turn takes another $10 per night off my rate!

So anyway, it's not about the forty bucks, but rather the gesture he made. I just thought it was a real nice move. It's just the littlt things that matter sometime.

Thanks Admin. for looking out for us CRT guys and setting us up with guys like Nixon.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot... I arrive Saturday May 5th!! See some of you down there I'm sure!

Just made reservations with Nixon via E-mail for two junior suites June 5. A very good experience with little red tape and quick responses to my questions. If all the staff is as effective as Nixon them my wingman and I will enjoy our stay. This will be my second trip. The first was in December of this year. I was a little disappointed in December as I visited the Sportsman several times and asked several guys if they were CRT members. Didn't find and/or meet a one. I guess most were gettting ready for Cristmas. I hope to be more successful during this foray.
