BK, IMHO you hit the nail on the head, and I agree 100 % with this statement. Even though they are P4P, I would like to feel some type of chemistry.

I also concur with Witling's statement, regarding a basic conversation with the chica beforehand. If I can't talk to her for a little while in the bar, then there's no sense in taking her back to the room.

1. Regardless of her learned hardness, her emotions are still alive. Buried, perhaps...but still alive.

2. Chemistry is as important as money, particularly with new ones.

3. Not all human kindness will be viewed by the chica as weakness or fast-cash opportunity. Many chicas respond to kindness and caring; their work is hard, their emotions and thought processes complex and the pressures great. Treating her with a bit of tenderness will allow her to respond to you as a woman.


4. Gringo players are generally clueless about the Latina mindset. This is a culture where men are expected to take control in social and sexual situations. Gringos are too damn accomodating to the desires of woemn, and while decisions should be made with tenderness, to quote Pres. G.W. Bush, American men should be "the Decider" in these situations.

5. Evil, true evil is rampant in the Gulch. Open your blind eyes, my sighted brothers. It's not just the dope, the crime, the slavery... Darkness permeates the entire scene. It is only by the fact that we males are ruled by Mr. Johnson that we can ignore it. In this millieu, is it surprising that some women stay relatively honest and kind, but others turn into rapacious, vindictive andmanipulative putas?

That's my take. Oh, and I wouldn't start out any negotiations with the preconception that every woman in the Gulch is my adversary. I prefer to think of her as an intimate service provider with professional experience: I don't fall in love with my doctor, I don't presume my hair stylist is evil or manipulative, I don't view my tax preparer as being a liar (well.... depends on the lie and who she's lying to...) In fact, I trust most C.R. chicas more than my own lawyer.

Any characterization of an entire group of people as "being" one way or another is by its nature, automatically false .

I used the word 'adversary' and 'enemy' with tongue in cheek. I was referring to the fact that in at least one sense the chicas and the mongers are at cross-purposes, that is, money. We want the lowest price we can get, they want the highest they can get. We negotiate to find a mutually acceptable figure (if we can). I never would think of these girls as my enemies in a personal sense. I have some I consider friends.

There is also an adversarial relationship regarding time spent. There are exceptions, but in general the girls don't want to spend 3 hours with you if they can get away with a half hour. They would rather spend time with another customer or go home to their families (again, generally).

Those who know me know I am one of the more chica-friendly guys. I recently had a little health problem and I have gotten a half dozen calls from chicas just wanting to know that I'm okay and telling me to take care of myself. I am not so generous (or horny) that they would be losing a major source of income if I died.

So no, they are not enemies. Call them allies with differing priorities.

So many threads talk about price. I think it is the wrong, wrong term. The correct term is value. If we were after price, we would be flooding the 5000c tico MPs, instead we tend to go to the DR for the $80 looker that we can take for 2 hours and tip $20.
It is difficult to be truly objective, but when I go the the Oasis or VIP MP verses the DR, I do not think that my standards are exactly the same.
Many, if not most of us, can afford to pay cien some or most of the time but really what we want is a chica that is attractive and affectionate to us and not feel we are overpaying.

I find it interesting that so many people on this thread , other threads, and guys I have met feel that they can't get a good GFE out of Del Rey. I have found many in there. Maybe it boils down to time spent on the hunt , seeing & being seen, reputation with the chicas or just luck. I think overall, I have found more GFE's in HDR than in Jaco & other SJ spots combined. YMMV ... for sure.

I totally agree Shawn this has been my experience also. Most of the time I was just looking for a good value experience & it turned out to be way more than I thought it could be. It is amazing sometimes how fast 2 people can meet, cut thru years of crap & just have a great time, it sure has surprised me at least.

I really have to agree also that value is way more important than a set price for me. My time is far more valuable too me than the money I spend & of what ever I spend I want it to be the best time for my time. A $20 bad time is just bad time management too me. VALUE so true!

No mater what, to get the most out of it all you HAVE TO MAKE A WOMAN LAUGH! Yes they are "PUTAS" but they are still a woman & human psychology is still very important to get out of it the best value. I never use MPs at all but do go by to check out the talent. I just don't like environments where having some game in you makes little difference.
