I don't know about that, Buckner was probably the best player on that team all around....May got hurt in the pros but he was player of the yeart count, but Benson was a great college player BUT the BUST I predicted in the pros and Bobby Wilkerson would have shut down Brwer or Green and May/Benson/Abernathy vs Noah and Horford would have been an interesting battle

IU also beat a pretty good Michigan team, beat UCLA with Marques Johnson and took out Marquette with Butch Lee in the Elite 8 who won the title the next year..
