Hey I'm heading to CR 3/28 - 4/2. I would like to make the Del Ray my center of activities, but I do not want to stay there as the room reviews and noise etc. have been less than stellar. I'm considering SL, Presidente and Castillo. Can anyone tell me how far these are from the Del Ray. I'm leaning towards SL because I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that they have girls on premises. If I do stay at SL can anyone recommend a quiet newer room with good internet reception.

SL and Castillo are about same distance from the Del Rey, which really isnt that far. Its like a 5-7 minute walk, but not really reccomended at night, so a 1-2$ cab ride.

Presidente is 2 blocks ( like 2 minutes ) away.

Id reccomend any of the newer rooms at SL.

The SL is a 3 minute walk to the HDR. I do however recommend taking a cab at night.

I would recommend the rooms in the new wing with the exception of the one that is right by the stairwell, sorry I cannot remember it's name.

I spent 8 nights in Amante last month and enjoyed this room very much.

The wireless internet at the SL is pretty good and you should not have many problems with it. I used my laptop there last visit and had little trouble.

And yes there are girls at the SL plus you are only a 3 minute walk to NF and a 5 minute walk to ZB.

Be sure to tell Asta ( evening bartender ) that Greg ( crazy Louisianian that loves tequila ) says hello.
