The 5th trip in the last 7 months is in the books. 6 nights at the Zona Blue and all I can say is AMAZING. Eddie and the staff took great care of me and the others who stayed there. Thank you Eddie and I cant wait till June.

Do the math is all I can say. I have read on here that the price of the suites is too high. Well if you do the math, this is the best value in CR. Suites have king size beds, mini bar, sauna, steam room and much more. If you are not in the penthouse you have a spare bedroom. Do the math, suite at the Pres, lets say $100, 3 girls at day avg $75 a peice, and then the lovely guest fees $25 each...total $300. ZB, $195, 3 girls at $20 each= $255. I even called a friend of mine who is an economist to verify my math was correct and he said the ZB was the better deal.

Girls, well.......I fell in lust many many times. Enough said.

It is the best value in San Jose, girls, staff and the other guests are great.

I suggest everyone stays here, call Eddie he will take great care of you.

If you really like the girls at ZB then it is a good value.

Okay I will do the math. Subtract the 3 x $25.00 chica fee since there is no chica fee and the total is $225.00 for the Presidente and $255.00 for ZB. Nothing wrong with your economists conclusion it is wrong because you gave him bad info. GIGO :lol:

Not debating that ZB is not a good deal considering the quality of the room just pointing out that it is not necessarily a better deal especially if you do not take 3 chicas a day.

Or...

Presidente = 50$ room + 75$ for chica = 125$

ZB = 195$ room + 20$ girl = 215$

Im no economist, but I think the Presidente is a much better deal by my math

or Cardboard Inn 35 cents with no chica fee, bag of mini-vodkas $14.40, right hand times 3 (free)....$14.75 :lol:

Sorry ID, (I know you've never been wrong before) :lol:
But I did the math and could get a jr. suite at the Pres. for 100.00 then go do 3 chicas/day at ZB for 120.00 = 220.00... -vs- the 255.00 :idea: And I'm not even an economist like the rest of you guys- but I could call a friend who is although he can't add worth a shit either. :P

Just back from 4 days 3 nights in SJO. Spent 2 nights at Zona Blue with my wingman, when he had to bingo back to Houston (work) spent the last night at the President. Just my dos colones so take it for what it is worth.

The 2 nights at Zona Blue were fantastic. The suites are excellent. Well laid out, great amenities, the service was fantastic. After any sesson with a ZB girl, when you left the room the maid was waiting out side the room to replace towels, and tidy up. We tipped her which seemed to surprise her but the great service kept on coming.

I always travel with my laptop and have had connection problems on the free wireless at both SL and the Presidente but no such problems here.

Every one from Eddie down to the guard at the door made us feel welcome, appreciated and like a valued guest. I have always recieved good service, and services at ZB but when they know you are staying there everyone takes it to a little higher level, even Pamela.

A lot of the previous posters have made much of the price and I won't get into the math. I think it is really calculus and that is over the head of this old airplane driver. Suffice to say that there are a whole range of options on where to stay in San Jose at various price points with various restrictions and/or fees. What is a best value for you depends on what your plans are for a trip, how many people in your party, what kind of experience you seek. In our case the price was a good value. I did notice that with the excellent rooms and $20/hr rate we tended to do longer sessions which is just one of many tradeoffs in the equation.

You can't beat the convience of having any where from 10-20 girls most of them new faces in this venue, as well as the established superstars, available all day long at a fixed no hassel pricing policy. You are limited in your experience by only your imagination. I know I saw some guys in the bar getting a little jelous as we assembled our opening act of 4 girls, the 2 of us for 3 hours last tuesday afternoon. More on the girls in a different forum.

In conclusion I think Eddie should be applauded for putting together a unique new option for us to enjoy in San Jose. Is it for everyone, probably not. Will I stop staying at the Sportsmans Lodge or the Presidente, not any time soon. Will I be back to Zona Blue for similar stays to this one, you bet your sweet ass I will.

PS. For those who are still hung up on price Eddie tells me the phase 2 expansion will include smaller single rooms perhaps with less amenities in the rooms at a lower price point. Successful business men listen to their customers and in my opinion Eddie like Bill at SL is good at doing that. I am looking forward to see what the new rooms look like.

Sorry for any confusion the last post on this thread by CO0183E was really from 1Quickpilot. I was using the wingmans computer and did not notice it had logged him on instead of me.

I'll take the hits for my opinions.

Last night I stopped by Zona Blue to pick up my CRT VIP card. The rate for an hour with one of the girls was $50, $42 with my CRT discount. Am I missing something here? That didn't seem like much of a bargin to me given the level of talent there. I had a beer and left. My money is better spent elsewhere.

As the old expression goes.... That's why Howard Johnsons has 28 flavors. No one place is for everyone,but CR has the variety of bars,MPs and strip clubs to seem to satisfy most guys.
