Finally

Late April from Chicago, finally coming back down to earth. Maybe the Spirit Air's of the world will bring the american carriers back to reality

Taca 452.92
Continental 470.92

Best prices I have seen in a year from Chicago

Now if they would just get a damn non-stop to SJO I would be in heaven......JFK, PHL, CLT, LAX, MIA, IAH, ATL, PHX, among others all non-stops...Chicago NADA...(sucks)

No Non-stops from Chicago to San Jose really sucks! The stops and their associated delays waste about 3 hours in travel time each way.

Chicago mongers need to band together and request this service. I can soon fly non-stop to South Africa from Chicago but can't go non-stop to Costa Rica.

I'll throw my hat in the ring on this one as well. Not only do I not get a non stop flight, I have to drive a little over 2 hours to even get to ORD. I have a black cloud over my head for air travel so, the less chance for delay the better. We need to make our voices known for a non-stop to SJO. United used to have one that made one trip a week. Must not have been too popular. Don't know.

Yeah, I can vouch for Dapanz's bad luck when it comes to weather and delays. Just glad I do not fly the same days as you (lol)

In my 10 trips, have never had a delay longer than an hour either way (probably pushing my luck)

As far as the United flight, I was one of the last to take advantage of the United non-stop to SJO..It was only on Saturday both ways and when United went into bankruptcy, that flight option disappeared, never to be seen again in my 2 1/2 years of travelling to CR

I thought TACA was running a non-stop for awhile. I know they arent right now, but I am pretty sure I have seen one in the past.

It's $571 plus taxes on CO DFW-SJO and $513 on AA going through MIA.
