I pull up the main page (www.costaricaticas.com) and log in like normal. I then click on forum at the top of the page and it appears that I have logged into the forum. Everything looks normal.... shows me at the bottom logged in and up at the top on the left. At the top right I have the option of viewing all posts since my last visit. WHEN I click on that link I am now sent back to the "log in page". If I do the log in thing again there are not any new posts since mt last visit.

I have checked everything on my end. Cookies are not being cleared. I continually check "log me in automatically" to no avail.

I am a regular whore like the rest of you. I am NOT Colombian so why the problem.

It has got to be me I am sure. Any ideas.

Berk.....

On occasion I must login two are more times before it will accept me. Not having the slightest bit of knowledge about these things I'm just happy it lets me in. That said let's move on to the bigger question are you OK? : Have you been self-medicating yourself. Since your last visit to the happy hunting grounds you have presented us with some pretty off-the-wall postings. Maybe you're in need of an emergency trip south. Maybe you can get your physician to issue you a prescription saying you need a trip to San Jose and get your medical provider to pay for it. It's a big world out there who knows it might work.

Berk, are you using AOL? This used to happen to me using AOL. I now use IE to log in to CRT. Wish I could use Firefox but that one does not work at all. I suggest try logging in using IE if you are not already doing so.

Firefox doens't woke here either, so I use Opera for this site. Never had problems since using Opera.

I had a similar problem w/another website. I had to remove some corrupted cookies. Possibly....go into....my computer...find the administrators folder..........open the cookies folder.....remove any cookies relating to CRT. Go back to login to CRT,this may cure your problem.

Enjoy!

Firefox works perfectly for me.

Regarding the double log-in issue:
When you get to the second page that requires log-in, save it as your link to CRT, and delete the link you have been using.
That should solve it.

It happens to me on both AOL or IE (on different computers). Not a big problem.

I'm just greatful because I thought I was having old timers moments.

Health & happiness.

Does anyone use firefox and is the home page about 4 times as wide as it should be? I'm using 2.0 FF.

Firefox seems to have a bug word-wrapping, so it extends the pages the length of a line of text. Very ugly. The Tica of the month is about 4 miles to the east on the page.

Also, and this happens on all browsers, logging in brings you back to a refreshed page. If you click on "discussion forums" it opens up a new window (or tab). But if you click on the "New VIP Gallery" then go to the forums from the link on top of the pix page, you stay within one window/tab.

Guys when I get some time, I'm going to have the site made compliant for all browsers hence no more spreading the page using FF...

ALSO the logon issue is ALWAYS a cookie issue...
