I've stayed at the Presidente and the DelRey and both were nice. I found the Presidente to be a little more classy, obviously. Both the Morazon and the Best Western are offering rates around $55, which is great. Just overall review of both would be very helpful to decide. I plan on bringing ticas in from all over San Jose?? Thanks, Captmike from 2005.

Morazan is much better located than the BW. Buy a Tico Times and cut out the coupon for a rate of $35.00 M/T/W/Th and $40.00 per night F/Sa/Su. Rate is plus tax but still comes out to just over $41.00 a night if you stay the full week and less if you stay more than a full week and your extra days are week days not weekend days. Currently the best deal in the gulch.

Where can I buy tico times copy to get the coupon? Also, I made a reservation at the Morazon and they quoted me about $55 a night. Do I bring them the coupon at check in for them to honor this rate or do I need to call them back. Plus, since I'm going to be there 4 nights, I wanted to get a room that was a little more comfortable at the Morazon. Any suggestions? thnks..

Just grab one at one of the Shops coming out of airport. I know they have them and you pass right by going to immigration.rbc100

I will be in Costa Rica between March 7 - 11, and was wondering if there was a coupon or discount on suites at the Morazan. Even though this is my first post I have been reading your forum for quite some time and find it invaluable; thanks for all the great info.

Coupon is for a regular room only. You might be able to talk them into an upgrade for a few bucks more if they know you will use the coupon rate in a regular room if they do not deal. Worth a try.
