When did you pay your tax at the President hotel,or any other hotel in sjo,,i go around the corner and up the st.going towards the hotel park, the bank on the left, and now it down stairs.is there a change ,i would like to know ,so i don t have to go pull out my money bages in my hand and everyone is around you at the airport, thanks
Presidente has been authorized to sell the departure tax form for some time now. It is for hotel guests only. The TACA desk at the Amon Plaza Hotel also sells the tax form. I know the BCR branch across from the Hotel Morazan does also and have been told that all BCR branches do also but have not verified that. There is also the booth in the Immigration area when you arrive.
They have opened a second sales counter at the airport departure level. This one is at the opposite end of the terminal (across from the American counter) so there is very little wait time now.
Big change from a few years ago when you had people hawking the form on the sidewalk in front of the terminal as well as the official counter inside the airport.
