Ok, most of us visit the Del Rey from time to time. What I'm looking for here is some sort of idea of how much time is spent per actual transaction by the men in the bar.

The point of the poll wasn't to measure success for the guys, which is a slam dunk if you want it, but rather trying to get a feel for how many 'deals' get done based on how many guys are sitting inside. What I am actually most interested in, in my sociological way, is the success rate for CHICAS, not for us. Since there is no CRP website (Costa Rica Prostitutes) I can't poll them and ask them how often they go home without doing anything.

In my twisted way, I wanted to get a feel for that based on something I could see, mainly the number of guys sitting inside the Del Rey. Using my Cray computer, I would extrapolate this based on number of guys inside, chicas inside and rate of deals struck. On the other hand... maybe my Cray isn't up to the task either. But that's what I'm interested in.

Whenever I take a newbie into the Del Rey, the inevitable question is 'I wonder how many of these girls actually make any money' or some variant of that. I guess I should just answer 'good question, I have NO focking idea, dude.'

Welcome to the board. You'll need to take some time (lots of it) to read the various threads, and most (if not all) of your questions can be answered. Also, you can use the "Search" function for specific questions. I'd advise you to get your VIP membership if you plan on going to CR. It'll pay for itself (and then some) on your 1st trip.

Since I started this mess, I guess I'll answer.

The Del Rey hotel/bar/casino is in central San Jose, any taxi driver will take you there. It's on Avenue 1 and Calle 7 or 9, I forget which. It doesn't much matter since most streets aren't marked anyway.

It's open 24/7. Average? Most will ask for $100 an hour. Most will accept 80, many will go for less, $50 and some even less. They don't have price tags and you'll have to strike your own deal.

I'm being nice here but you should read the forum a little more. If there aren't thousands of posts regarding the Del Rey I'll put a Bush/Cheney sticker on my forehead and sit all night in the Del Rey.

MG that avg. looks a little LOW for the HDR, what is your formula? Obviously this is YOUR personal average & you must have factored in your own guapo-ness, charm, personality and the fact that chicas everywhere swoon in your awesome, manly presence to arrive at such a low CPH (cost per hora) at the HDR. Or else you just pick gordas.

Actually, I was feelin' a little froggy when I wrote that post. TengoTodo's question was so "wide open", I couldn't help it. I just threw those numbers out there. And my record keeping is not that good, so I have no idea what my average CPH (cost por hora) has been. If I were to take a wild guess, I'd say it'd be pretty low, since I have done so many TLN's. Besides that, on a scale of 1 - 10, my chica's are usually around a 2 or 3 !!!!

The Hotel Del Rey is located at the corner of Av. 1 and Calle 9 (NE corner). AIt's an 8 story, pink building.

In the hotel is a bar called the Blue Marlin and a casino called the Casino del Rey.

Hours of operation: It never closes, although alcohol sales are suspended for certain religious holidays and elections.

Costs per chica range from $0.00 (you're hot, she's not and is looking for a rich gringo boyfriend) to $300.00/hour (She's hot, you're not... and not only that but you're new and are too lazy to do some basic research). Most experienced mongers get reasonably good-looking girls for around $60.00/hour, more or less. Your mileage may vary (YMMV).

Wow, this one is a tough one to answer. I've paid between $20 and $100, and I've scored after 5 minutes and not scored after 6 hours. It depends on the chica/monger ratio, your jungle lust, jeez, so many things. If you walk into the DR determined to score something quickly and spot the chica of your dreams right away, she's yours faster than you can say "cien." If you're just hanging out with buddies throwing a few back after a long day of sessioning with multiple chicas you might find yourself empty-handed after a few hours. The bottom line is that the monger controls how quickly he scores and for how much.

I consider the DR a place to hang out and chill because I do most of my damage during the day. At the DR I generally let opportunities present themselves rather than seek them out. But again, it depends on my mood.
