Yes, without a doubt, the gorda and less attractive chicas can usually be had for less. Indeed, I'm certain many of these girls may sit for days with no action to speak of.

Also remember that a number of girls that come into the BM are a flash in the pan and many do not return. There are a number of reasons for these one night divas and dogs including that some of them are just curious, some hear about the fast money, some college girls do it on a dare, some want a quick buck and sadly, some just have no option due to being on drugs, broke or dropped by her tico hubby and have Babi*s to feed. Some of these chicas are smitten by the greenbacks and become part timers and of course there are the new pros that find some success and say "Phuck it, I'll ride this pony as long as I can.

As far as the regulars, they wouldn't be returning if they didn't make a living at it. And yes, there are even a number of regulars that go for several nights without snagging a John. The competition varies nightly and many girls don't even get a drink bought for them. Yet one has to remember that even 4, 5's and 6's are attractive to some men....as they say "there is someone for everyone." One retired working girl "Lucy" was a prime example....still hooking in her forties. And another girl who was once a 10+, Milena, now over 30 and has been working the gulch over 10 years.

Personally, I contend that the overall percentage of quality, not quanity, of chicas has gone down noticably in the last four or five years. It's a tough business, especially now with other nationalities flooding in. On the bright side, there are still many young jewels in and outside the gulch as V-Bob I'm sure would would concur. Unfortunately, some of us older and uglier farts have to shake more green at them just to gain audience.

I am strongly of the belief that no, not all make money. I would even go so far as to say that less than half make any money at all on any given night. I wish I could back this up with some sort of scientific evidence, but I can't.

I do know that I have spent a lot of hours just sitting and observing. Just as a wild-ass guess, I would say that during prime time I'll see maybe 10 girls leaving via the front door or the front elevator with a 'client' per hour. That's really not all that much considering how many girls are inside and that less deals get struck earlier and later. Of course there are the other doors and the other elevator. But it just seems to me that if every girl in the place was going to get a customer, you'd see couples (or 3somes, etc) leaving together a lot more frequently.

This gives me an idea for a poll in the general section...

Yep, concur. A very few are just as busy as they want to be but that is very few. Just like always, 10% of the vendors get 90% of the sales - business 101. FWIW
