I won't be there until Wednesday. Start your bar hopping at Beatle Bar...and ask the regulars if some of the other places like Nacho Daddy's are hot or cold. Jaco is relatively small with one main road...you won't get lost.

Lee Duke and El Guapo will be in Jaco on Monday and Tuesday. We're staying at the Copa. We'll definately be at the Beatle bar. We'll be the drunk guys!

I stayed at the Copa last week and I enjoyed it as always.

I'll give one word of advice, stop at the duty free and pick up a bottle(s) of your favorite booze. It will save you some real money opposed to buying drink for drink at the pool bar.

I do this every trip and the hotel management never seems to mind.

I haven't checked the Copa for any daytime talent lately. Something happened to girls going to Bar Bohio. Haven't seen any there in a while. I'm sure the Monkey Bar will be hopping as always.

I can't give a report on the daytime talent at the Copa as I fish durning the day while in Jaco.

I can report that there were quite a few girls around the pool and bar when we returned from fishing (+/- 6:00 PM). I love the atmosphere there, as it (IMO) has festive feel.

I love to return to the Copa after a great day of fishing and have a tall Ron Zacapa Rum and talk with whoever is around and trade stories. Finish the drink, take a shower and then feast on (hopefully) fresh caught Mahi Mahi.

Last Friday (Jan 12) the Copa had a two man band that played and were fantastic. I'm sure the rum did not hurt my opinion of the band. My friends and I sat under the balmy Jaco night, joined by a team of Nica's (5 or 6) and enjoyed the evening and great atmosphere.

For me, it does not get much better than this.

So there are chicas at the Copa in the evenings? Interesting... I'll have to go check it out one of these nights. I don't get down to that end of town very much.

There were last Wed., Thur and Friday nights. Friday night, there was a particularly nice little group of Nicas.

What part of town are you at Thirdworld? Towards Playa Hermosa?
