Who are you referring to? If it's Roll Tide, he's not my "buddy". I don't know him from the next Joe. I'm just don't like seeing people get ridiculed for no reason. A lot of guys (including CRTs) appear to have novias to some degree in CR. Of course not all chicas are evil money-grubbing con women and not all guys seeking some type of relationship with them are emotionally crippled idiots throwing away their life savings on scammers (but some are) and it does happen constantly. Maybe it's not fair to use the words con & scammers in regard to the women since there is usually no intricate diabolical plot at work other than the occasional white lies on their part. On the contrary these men happily volunteer to give their money away while believing the unbelievable. Other chicas hear these stories too and laugh & gloat with their amigas about the debit cards, western union, rent payments, fine jewelry and even that car some gringo paid for. Surely most HDR chicas are just waiting and hoping for a sucker to come her way too and odds are sooner or later one will. But this is probably good for us since the hopes of landing an occasional gringo-whale along with the guy that pays 100+/hr & 300+/TLN keeps fresh talent coming to the pond. But how do they pull it off? After all the chicas aren't smarter than most of us, from what I've observed otherwise intellegent men just get remarkably stupid in these situations- overwhelmed by hormones, believing the fantasy and then spending hundreds or thousands on a single chica. A lot of times the chica doesn't even ask directly for money but just drops hints. Some guys are just rescuers, drawn to women they feel need rescuing which boosts their own egos, usually at the expense of their own sanity. What the chicas are good at is using pussy-power to get what they want, they are women.

Yes we need to be aware that it happens and inform others. Sadly there is a percentage of guys that will not listen anyway, hell with them I say it's their money and they can take the hard road, besides it's entertaining to watch. And is it really fair to blame the chicas for taking advantage of the weak saps that fall into their laps? Heck no, gringos have presented this opportunity so good for them if they get a free ride once in a while at some gringo's expense. I've banged more than one that were "off market with novio sending money" and told each I was happy for her, they are thrilled like they hit the lottery and you know they still enjoy sex when novio isn't around.

If you don't wish to participate in that losing game one key is not being a fool from the start and not showing the chicas that you're just a needy, desperate, lonely man with more money than sense. If you are in fact a newbie this is hard since you may stick out in the HDR like a deer in the headlights. Just take your time, enjoy the game with all its' rewards and just learn to play it well before becoming fixated on any one chica. And surely there are some semi-innocent sweeties out there worth saving, pulling off the market, keeping for yourself or whatever you want to call it but if you haven't learned to tell the difference you might just end up screwed in more ways than one. And if seriously looking for a LTR or wife why even bother with the pool of hardened working girls? A little time and effort outside the gulch or even Colombia should prove much more rewarding.

I teetered on the edge when I was a newbie but some of the older experienced Gringos made a difference in my life. I saw the quote "needle & the damage Done" . I really didn't like what I was seeing with their pain & suffering ! I was more fortunate & listened to reason & logic which prevailed so I was never used. It is easy to sit back now & laugh about it all & wish it was this way for all. Maybe I had the luxury of being young & living the fantasy where you didn't feel so pushed with the race against time?

But pu$$y pulls on a young man just as hard as an older man in a different way. At least a man with more experiences in life should know more what is real & what is fantasy, at least one would think. This maybe part of the problem for many as they are not "truly experienced" ? At least these type of posts have helped some & if one person is helped it is worth the little typing we do . I guess I feel I owe some gratitude to the Gringos that made a difference in my life. They helped guide me to the best life I could have ever found & I wish they were alive now to read this or maybe they can ?

Ever since I started posting here I have always said don't sell yourself short in CR. Damn near utopia is there & in many other Latina countries but look in the right places where you give yourself a fighting chance to find it. Some guys pointed this out too me & it made all the difference in the WORLD!

There is NO reason I feel for all the seriousness over a little joking around here. Sometimes it is just that, that allows one to come too their senses. Unfortunate as it maybe many people on this planet are so obsessive compulsive types that once they start on a particular path they have to crash & burn hitting rock bottom to climb out of it if they ever do? El Ciego & some of us have discussed this being an addiction in the past. He has made many good points about this. It does look like they need to have a rehab center down there for many men. "needle & the damage Done" think about it before you make a life changing leap.

If you haven't guessed I am "older now " but I love the Chicas as much as ever at least when I take the time to see some. I don't think this will ever really change but I have slowed down some do to being around more "honest" women. Some how I hope when I have to deal with the "Guy with the BIG BOOK" & the cloud thing my punishment for such a good life will be dealling with 21 Chica virgins ! Can you imagine what a pain this will truly be ???

Why buy her anything? It's start with a small gift and food and then you see how happy the simple things in life make her and you start to think "this one is different."

Pay her for her time and off ot the NEXT one... let her buy whatever she wants and/or needs with the money she earned at work. Just like most of us do back in the states we work in order to purchase whatever it is we want and/or need.

I for one will no longer bring gifts for any chicas involved in P4P. It's been said before that you get better service if you bring little gifts for the chicas but from my experience I've had many GFE without resorting to gifts to compensate for my lack of personality, generousity, good looks and whatever reasons you feel the need to give any chica anything other then the money they earned from working. I've sat at the tables with the chicas and have heard the way they talk about gringos as they walk past. Like; he's good for an easy 10 minute cien. he brings me anything i want. he's a sucker. he pays me $300 for tln because he's stupid, never because he's rich and I show him a really good time.

Also seen chicas lugging around gifts they did not seem to appreciate, want and need. It's all about how much they can get out of you.

Yes. They are all special in my eyes but none of them are any more special then the next. so why should i give to one and not the rest. better not to give anything besides cash after they've earned it.

In my (limited) experience the best gifts were the simple ones given for their niños, they seem to remember and appreciate those much more than the more expensive gifts for the chicas themselves.

Actually a gift card isn't a bad idea compared to cash- at least you know she'd be spending it on groceries or K*ds clothes instead of some bullshi*. Hey Lee would a WalMart gift card be accepted at Mas X Menos?

The short answer would be I do not know. I will look into it. A longer and more complicated answer would be it is usable at any Wal-Mart store world wide given that that store is connected to the satellite system. The information on the card is not accessible at store level when you use a card that transaction goes through the home office in Arkansas. If you're ever in a store and unable to use your card the reason is their satellite connection Is not functioning.

I have had many many friends fall into the same trap and they end up supporting two houses, nearly bankrupt, working 2 jobs to pay Ch*ld support etc. I had one friend who paid 5k in back Ch*ld support and you know what the bitch did? She bought a brand new pair of bolt-on titties.
