Bullshit Prolijo....you better NOT stop posting around here. I,for one enjoy your posts. (even though they may on occasion be "a bit" long lol) You have always contributed insightful posts that assist newbies and vets alike. It always baffles me when I see threads that deteriorate to "how to treat telemarketers". What the hell does that have to do with mongering here in Costa Rica. This is why political discussions are barred from this site. If everyone started posting their feelings on unrelated topics,this board would be "Flame City". I think we would all be better off staying "on topic".

I agree with VB. I've learned a lot from the subject content of many of your posts. Whether they're long or short, members have the option to read them, or skip over them. So, IMHO, keep doin' what yer doin'!

Prolijo and I hardly ever agree about anything . Thats why I enjoy reading his posts since it gives a different slant to things than I put on them. The only way to really learn something about a subject is to discus it rationally with someone who has a thoughtful, well presented, different view point than you own.

To cite a very recent example. Would this board be better served by the likes of loveboob? . His recent posts certainly have more to do with "mongering in Costa Rica" Do they better serve the board I do not think so.

I certainly hope Pro continues to share his wisdom and thoughts with the board.

I also hope he can share that in fewer words in the future

What's going on around here telemarketers working in HDR needing 5 k to leave & Prolijo threating to take a vacation . Costa Rica just wouldn't be the same without that map. Oh yeah, and thanks for all your kind words. I was sort of hoping for that type of response. I'm used to people teasing me about my wordiness and I deserve it, but I was kinda stung by ID's sarcasm regarding my other qualities. I may not be the Humantarian of the Year but I always liked to think of myself as one who often goes out of my way to help other people.

Wow. Getting off subject is one thing. Defending telemarketers because they have "work ethic" is another ? I'm fairly confident that 99% of the rest of us would prefer they use any work ethic they have for other employment.

The girls at the DL/KL should focus on getting paid for their job. If that girl had said and later done the right things, she would have gotten 25k and possibly a tip. Some of the girls have gotten so used to guys fresh off the plane grabbing them without any talk that they use this to their advantage. Once they get back to the room they start with the , "No Kisses, No BJ, No this position and No that , and Hurry Up" . I've seen girls at the DL/KL for HOURS at a time with no work. They should be willing to warm up a guy . It's better sitting having free drinks rather than standing against a wall with the chance of nothing.

Whenever I hear a girl ask for "taxi" money or the like, my thought is, go blow someone and you"ll have your taxi money.

That's a terrific point and one of my personal critereia that I never really thought about. I really do look for some kind of mutual respect on a basic human level. If I am talking to a chica she gets my attention and I deserve hers. The smokin' hot chicas that act like they could care less probably do. FWIW
