Me and my wingman made a last minute decision to take a trip to San Jose. Airline reservation worked out great but hotels have been somewhat of a problem. Really wanted to stay at the Sportsman but only was able to get in for one night on 1/15. I do have Del Rey for 1/11 – 1/14 but only have one double room that we have to share. Both of us snore and can suck the stucco off the ceiling.

Called Presidente – no luck; called Castillo - no luck. Called Sportsman again – no luck.

Anyone have a room at Del Rey or Presidente or preferably at the Sportsman booked that they may not be using or cancelling?
Dates needed would be 1/11-1/14/2007

Thanks in advance , Deeker

You could also try Casa Vino.

Have you tried the Grand Costa Rica? It's only a couple of blocks from the Presidente' or the Balmora across from Presidente? Both are on Expedia.

Neither is a hotel that a monger would be comfortable. The Balmoral is chica hostile  and the Gran Hotel Costa Rica is chica intolerant

Thanks guys for the help - I will just figure out a way through it.

In a way, kind of what Costa Rica is all about anyways - Go with the flow and it will all work out.

We will have a roof over our head for the entire stay os it ain't so bad. Just this guy snores like like some sort of wild animal that you would see at zoo behind bars !!

Thanks, Deek

Amon Plaza should be no problem. Justed booked with Nixon on Friday. I usually stay at the Prez unless it is booked, then I do Amon. Nice Hotel. I'll be there the same dates.

Paid out my ass for airfare this time, but was a last minute move.
