Many of you on this forum remember Miguel Hine….the Director of Who Knows What for the Hotel Del Rey.

I am saddened to report that Miguel passed away a few nights ago. Miguel was a co-worker and a friend. He was an all around good guy that brought fun and laughter to all who were around him. He will be missed.

Very sorry to hear this sad news. He was a very good friend of mine throughout the years at DR.

When I met him earlier this year, He seemed in good health, active in his new furniture mfg business in Alejuela.

My condolences to his wife A. and their 4 yr old son Derek.

Miguel was a good friend of mine and of many American visitors to San Jose. I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing and I will miss him.

Very sad to hear. A nice,fun guy..... My Miguel story is from several years ago.When he was head of security at the DR,I had an incident with a chica "trying" to steal some money from me while I was staying at the Morazon Hotel. I told Miguel about it,and even though it happened at ANOTHER hotel,he barred her from ever coming back into the DR. He was smart enough to know that chicas that steal from customers are bad for business.

Yes I am still in Tamarindo and working non-stop.
