I recently told a few of my co-workers about my mongering
adventures...BIG MISTAKE... I was surprised by their
reaction.It ranged from "What kind of sick person are you"
to " Why don't you look for a nice girl? I guess I have been mongering so long now it seems so normal.Is what we do really wrong? Are we bad people?

Personally I would suggest never tell anyone anything about what you do. The reason is the reactions you just described. And you can't blame them. They live in a world where from day one it has been beat into their hands by family, law and religion that such activities are wrong and should be avoided. They have never been outside of that world to see that these are prejudices created by their society. Some things in life even good things you must keep to yourself.

There is a current discussion in the VIP section about this and I dug up an old thread Lee mentioned, (see if you were a VIP member you could have already learned from other's mistakes and would have known better.)
There are many reasons people will look down on you, and your friends may not always be your friends so even if you trust them now they might use the info later on to slander you. Always better to keep your mouth shut about your hobbying- to be safe. Only 1 friend of mine knows and the only reason is he brought it up discussing the cathouses & mp's he's been hitting in his work travels around the US.

I do not hide hide my hobby. I even boost about it.
a) why go through the pretense of a relationship, when you are just in it for the sex. If you need to lie about your intentions to keep her around, thats worse than anything I do in CR.. Those nice girls have thier own agenda and it usually winds up with you in family or divorce court with a bigger hit on your pockets than any cien steadfast ever will.
b)if you are in a open relationship you are no different than any mongerer and you might be more likely to let your guard down putting you at greater risk. you dont know what shes doing when shes not with you. In our life I know to protect myself at all times.

If I have to listen to coworkers Rockwell stories and see pictures of wives in bikinis instead of the moomoos they should be wearing, than they can listen to my tales of cheap conquest and pictures of cuties they would kill for five minutes with.

Uh....I married a "nice girl" who got pregnant on purpose because she knew I was going to dump her. She also knew I was the kind of guy that would stay with her once the bun was in the oven, which I did. When we broke up (my idea), I got myself a vasectomy within 3 months so no other "nice girl" could make that kind of decision for me again.

Good responses. I have no problem telling people why I go to Costa Rica so often.......they suspect it anyway. I have to agree with Shawn that most men who have anything negative to say about it are jealous with envy. Truth be known.....I would guess that 95% of the men out there would be doing the same thing "IF" they could.....and that's a BIG if. Most men are stuck in a rut they'll never get out of, so this lifestyle will always remain a fantasy to them.

Personal circumstances mean a lot when it comes to what you're comfortable disclosing to people. It's no problem for me since:

a. I have no wife.
b. I have no job.
c. I don't go to church.
d. I'm not a politician.

I especially enjoy mentioning it in a subtle way to gringas who have no choice but accepting the fact that this is one American man who has slipped their controlling grasp and there's nothing they can do about it.

Also I'm not sure about saying gringas wants to control us. The government does that So I wouldn't blame gringas. Really. They don't do much. It's our gov't we have to worry about

My male co-workers know what I do when I travel. Hell, I even show them the pics.

As for the females they can only surmise but I could give a crap what they think anyway.

The thing that gets me is I work with two guys who are both late 40s, neither have ever been married and neither will even take my advice to travel.

One spends all his vacation time (4 weeks a year) visiting family in Washington D.C.
The other NEVER leaves the area from north Georgia to Birmingham, AL.

I've known these guys for over 10 years. Both of them have IT degrees and work as programmers. They are not what you would define as "nerds". These guys would be prime candidates to become mongers.

The first one said he wanted to spend as much time with his parents as he could while they were alive. I pointed out to him if he saved just 1 day from each of his 4 weeks of vacation I could make sure he would have a vacation he'd never forget.

The other one told me "I own property in three states".
My response was, "Great, enjoy sitting there looking at the trees."

I am not a committed monger but at least I enjoy spending time with young, fun women when I'm not in a relationship.

I absolutely LOVE doing this! Its some of the best fun I have in between trips. I go to strip clubs alot here and really enjoy telling these US strippers how thier latina counterparts are so desirable .. and why. A few months ago I was in a joint telling some drink hustler that I always give my old business cards to strippers so they can throw them away for me. They always want a guys # but always claim later to have lost it. As she began to defend her "freinds", my phone rang. It was my Nica favorita from Pantera Rosa. She was back home in Nicaragua visiting her family and had called just to see how I was doing. We talked for about 10 minutes as the half naked gringa sponge sat there with an empty glass longing for my attention/money. After hanging up I told the spoiled brat beside me exactly who had just called me and what we had talked about. I laughed loudly at the timing of the call and talked about how cool that was. From the corner of my eye I spotted the waitress coming over. I stopped gloating to ask if she would mind buying me a drink since I was trying to save my money for my trip to Costa Rica. The look on her already startled face was priceless! Of coarse I didn't get the free drink , but I got rid of an unwanted gringa and she has never approached me again.... Thanks to perfect timing from my Nica play mate.

Never say to a co-worker anything that you might be afraid would be recounted in court, be it civil or criminal. Sad to say, but there is little honor in the modern corporation, where it is both dog eat dog, and fit the mold. You inform them that you don’t fit the mold and they will line up for a taste of dog. That having been said, I will share with a few select corporate wogs what goes on in some of the mongering places I go. These are the guys that are married that I go to strip clubs with, who will pay a stripper 500 for a blow job, Most of them understand completely, but are unwilling for a host of reasons to cross the line. Some of them are presently happily married, others are in a dead marriage that they are unwilling to bury. Anyway, the rest of the Kool-Aid drinkers, I leave at hi and bye.
