I spend about 3 weeks of every month in Costa Rica and travel from San Jose to the coast at least twice each trip. The expense of cab fares and rent cars are killing me.

I know I could buy an older SUV for $10,000-$15,000, but really don't want to part with that much cash.

What about leasing an SUV in Costa Rica? Is it possible? Is it a good deal? Where should I go? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

From what I know and have heard leasing is not done in Costa Rica. I am not sure but I think the devaluation of the colone and the interest rate structure has made it impractical.
