Does anyone have any suggestions on a hotel to stay at in Jacco Beach? A Tica Friendly hotel is preferable.

Thanks,

Brent

BrentC15: This topic has been discussed at great length numerous times. I suggest you do a search for Jaco (one c) or Jaco hotels and you will get many opinions. Enjoy. Wile Coyote

Was there the first week in Nov. Stayed at the Hotel Poseidon, owned by an American and his wife ,(Tim Odom) chica friendly, secure, just remodeled. It was low season ,we, three of us, negotitiated a good rate for two nights each. There are other places to stay, one of our group stayed there in June and recommended it. Their number if you're interested

ps
the beatle bar, I was not impressed, a lot of Dominicans, real attitudes with the cien deal. Hot and rainey, although the place was paked, very few decent ones, I got lucky and found a Tica, my friends ended up with Dominicans, both said it was miserable experiences. The monkey bar had nothing but guys in it . got patted down at the door. Over all Jaco, IMHO, was not as good as it was last year.

I concur with Bond Trader. I spent 2 nights there this weekend and had a fabuloius time. Right close to the action at night, and quiet during the day to sleep off the hangover.
