I know that Clinton is responsible for everything gone wrong over the last six years, but can it be proven that he is responsible for the Miami brawl?
Isn't it time to end the charade that college football players are students? I wager that few players gain anything from the academics. They are there to bring in big money to the schools and entertain the alumni. Why not consider them semi-pro players entitled to some compensation.
I recall years ago when an injured player claimed worker's compensation. But I don't remember whether the claim succeeded. Probably, the NCAA settled some money on the "student".
panther- The clinton remark on my part was SATIRE. We know how clinton panders to the hood.
Your other points are valid though. With the exception of a few schools like
( Stanford, Duke, Vanderbilt,Rice etc...), they are essentially gladiators. gladiators whom must win, in order to get daddy warbucks alumni to donate $ 25 million to the science library etc... Yes, it is hypocracy, considering that these guys cannot in many cases, have jobs while on scholarship, and heaven forbid if they take a $ 20 from a coach of alum to buy a pizza and see a movie etc....
Just like Gladiators they too are pawns for they big cats...
