Every real football game I have ever seen, be it in High School, Colle or the NFL the fair catch rule has been in effect..... :o :o :o

Hey Dreaddogcr, I'll be in SJ on dec 4- 16 so if your around for a beer or 2 then thats great. Bill put up a NHL game in the fountain area for me but was switched off in the 2nd period when the NFL games started up. No prob.

PS as Stompen Tom would say....the old hockey game 8)

You can fair catch the ball in the end zone but it will cost you a point.There isn`t any free 20 yards in Canadian football ,you earn every one!

what happens in that crazy game when a punter kicks it out of the end zone...does the other team get a point for this too.........LOL

Nope, but the punter can choose to concede a safety touch in the end zone rather than punt it out. That gives the other team 2 points, and the conceding team then has to kick off from their 35.
