The owner Jack has had the place for sell this past year. There has been several interested parties. However, Jack only makes his money off the Beer, Drinks and limited food.
So when the others were considering this and crunched the numbers it was not such a good deal. Asking a million bucks. I called and asked Jack if he sold the place he said " Who Knows" and hung up.

(Tony the onwer of the other Beatle bar in Nosara hasnt made the bucks and struggles each month as tourism is very sparse.)

With the Monkey bar and others there will always be some place to meet the women..

Back in the spring Jack told my wingman he would sell for 1.5 million.

Something like that starts to make Kamur's asking price seem a lot more reasonable, doesn't it?

Just a case of what happens when there is no competition. Men are men. If the working girls were at the Jaco garbage dump, guys would flock there. Would love to see them bulldoze the place and Jaco have another venue. Wouldn't mind checking out the talent, but I refuse to step in the BB. Even a lowlife like me has standards.

For 1.5 million you could build a state of the art place in Jaco and put the BB out of business.... But remember someone else could do it to you also.

If I had 1.5 million I would just retire and enjoy life......

Kamur started out at $700k, then the priced dropped and dropped. It was "sold" they put up $90K. Said they would do things different and lost. The original onwer took it back and agin started out at $450K now is down to $350K and will accept offers.
Just like the Beatle Bar its all who wants to lose their money.
The strip joints here are dying out. Centerfolds w/ Tim business is way down, Tango India and Atlantis all losing. They charge too much for what you get here. The girls make 20 bucks a night and plus what they can hussle a gringo for. Lip Stick forget it way too much.
Still the Mp and a few tico place are still reasonable.. just my take.

Is the Beatle Bar in Nosara like the BB in Jaco? Girls and all, or just another bar?
