This will be my third trip to CR. My other visits were more on the order of vacations, but I did pause long enough to sample a few of the FINE ladies that inhabit this wonderful place. I arrive on 10/5 and depart on 10/9 and my whole reason for coming is to kick back for a few days in a country I love and am considering retiring in, within 10 years. So while I am not a total "Newbie", I do have a few questions I hope some of the veterans can help me with.

1. I am staying at the Hotel Presidente and am wondering what their policies are on having guests? Will I need to pay extra?

2. What seems to be the going rate for short-term companionship? Looking for quality, but not looking to break the bank either.....LOL

3. Is it common for the ladies to be available to stay with me for a few days? If so what is the going rate for something like this? It would be nice if she was bi and would welcome the invitation of another guest at some point.

4. I like to ride in style and wondering if anyone knows of a limo company that would transport me to and from the airport?

I would really appreciate some feedback to my questions. I am really looking forward to my return to SJO, as it has been way too long. Your assistance will help me hit the ground running and set the stage for a most pleasureable visit.

Answers to questions 1, 2 & 3 can all be found by doing a simple search. They have been discussed on this board innumerable times.

There is a list of dependable drivers also posted however I do not think any of them use limousines. If you do some research on the rest of your questions and then repost your limo question you will most likely get some information.

Good Luck

lookingtoswing4 - better to read a bit and then ask questions about what you've read, but don't understand entirely.

I would like to address your question about how common is it for the ladies to spend several days with you.
Answer: Yes, very common However, I would suggest spending a day or so in SJ with her to determine whether or not she will be good company for you. You can read lots of posts of guys who got stuck with chicas that were a pain in the ass to spend a lot of time with.
The Bi question.... some chicas will and some won't. You need to speak about this candidly with her before you attempt to do this.

KC has a good point.

You'll have to pony up some serious cash for a chica to spend a lot of time with you unless you know Spanish and with the language you can convince her that you are a great time. If your Spanish is limited, being with someone for much longer than 2 hours is a bit unrealistic since you'll simply be with her in silence (can't screw all day).

If you want lesbo action, the ZB has a room where the bed is big and the lesbo action is available. With a VIP membership, each girl is 40 dollars so take 3 if you want. YMMV, the ZB is the best place to have this kind of experience. Get there early, around 10AM so the girl are fresh and don't be shy about asking for 2 girls and the big bed.

WOW...Thanks for all the good replies. Just to be clear, I did do some research on this site, but there are SO MANY posts, it is hard to know which ones contain the info I am looking for and the time to look thru them all. I will keep looking, but wanted to seek some veterans advice. The spend a day getting to know a lady is very good advice, especially since I do not speak spanish. I did this when I was in Thailand, last time, but easy to find someone who speaks english and they seemed so agreeable and easy to get along with.

D2864....The ZB advice is very well received and suspect I may do a bit more research on that particular place. Last time I was there I met a VERY nice lady at BM and had a nice romp in the back room of Club Olympus (now gone?). Other than that, I didn't do much more and it has been 6 years since my last trip there, and my memory hasn't been improving with age.

One other point.... you might want to look for a semi pro or part timer for a weekend trip. Some of them don't really like going into the DR/KL and welcome a weekend retreat with a decent gringo. You do need to spell out financial terms up front. Just paying for food and entertainment does not qualify. You ought to be able to get one like that for around $100 per day.

King Costa....That is VERY good advice. I am a Nice American Gentleman who just wants to have a good time while I am in SJO and it would be so much more enjoyable with the right company. I had expected I would need to spend a few, in addition to meals, drinks and entertainment. How does one go about finding a semi-pro or part timer for such an arrangement? The info you have provided is most appreciated.

What is this dress code I am reading about with respect to Hotel Presidente?

He doesn't speak Espanol so I don't think spending a lot of time with any particular chica is going to be very fun. It is about screwing, but conversation plays a big part in all of this. Let alone her, but I'd be bored to tears being stuck with someone I can't talk to (she'll end up watching cartoons... I betcha!).

KC 100 per day? Most of them want 100 a hour so how to do a day for a 100? I think that is extremely misleading. In my experience, finding on to go to the beach, unless you've know her for a long time, isn't so easy. I'd have to spend a whole lot of time digging for one the was willing to jump ship to the beach or where ever. Many of them have K*ds so they can't leave SJ so easily.

Lookingtoswing4 - go to CR without a plan except where you are going to stay. This is your first trip in a long time so go get the lay of the land and then you'll be way more prepared for your next trip. Once in SJ, go to the BM/KL and make your way to the ZB and New Fastasy and then the Sportmens Lodge. A trip without a plan and without a lot of goals is way less stressful.

Several years ago, I wrote a post called "The Interview". I described how to qualify chicas and try to avoid a bad experience.

Here are a few easy pointers.

1. If the chica approaches you, she is likely very experienced. Probably
not what you might be looking for.
2. Check out what they are wearing. Part timers sometimes wear more
conservative clothing because they don't want their friends and
relatives to know that they sometimes go into the DR to make a
couple of bucks
3. I would probably avoid really young chicas since they might be
very nervous.
4. Check out the hair, make-up and nails. The hardcores have a certain
look and are relatively easy to spot.
5. When you conduct your interview see if the chica is a little nervous
and not in a big rush to get you out of the Del Rey. Part timers
are usually just happy with one "date" per evening.
6. Tell the chica that you want to relax and enjoy someones company
without time pressure.
7. Look for chicas by themselves off to the side or a little out of the way.
These girls always wait for the man to present himself first.
8. Remember that these girls are not regulated and they vary from
sweet chicas to vicious bitches out to rip you off. Be on your guard.
9. Try the "Shrimp Test" , in other words, see if she orders the most
expensive drink or is considerate and orders a moderate priced
drink or food.
10. Do not always trust what they say. A few of them lie about how much
they go into the DR.
11. Trust your instincts. Watch her body language.
12. Does the phone constantly ring? If so, dump her right away. I hate
those phuckin things.
13. Enjoy the experience. Remember, you are a ROCK STAR in Costa
Rica

Not everyone goes to CR with the same mentality.

Trust me, you can find a chica for $100 a day if you find the right one.
He does need to find a chica that speaks English and he may have to settle for one that is not an 8, 9, or 10.

It appears that he wants a nice companion to relax and enjoy CR

Awesome replies...........All have value. D2864, I think your assessment of the fee is right on. I thought it sounded WAY Too cheap. Now when I was in Thailand, last, one could find a FINE companion for $100/day. I do not intend to have a plan of action; but a multitude of options is a good thing to have. You speak of KL, where is this place?

King Costa......Your advice too is appreciated. Bear in mind, I am no novice in this arena, whether it be the USA, Costa Rica, Thailand, Vietnam. But the tips are Very good things to know and remember.

Thanks to all......This in combination with post reviews is yielding a wealth of information.

Oh KC, you are right, if he doesn't mind a not so good looking chica, if he isn't into the fastasy, he may be able to pull it off.
