Gents, in hind sight I should have added a mid-range option of 10 days or so. The airfare factor appears to be the big one for most. That's also true for me too. :evil:

Guess I could re-coin it and use 14 days to cover anything > then 7 days.
Most vacation trips are usually 1 or 2 week periods for airline prices, unless your retired and have ample vacation days :wink:

Location: Various hotels on the south-east coast
I usually have 3 or 4 trips a years that are for 5 or 6 nights and 2 trips ayear that I stay 11 or 12 nights. The longer trips make for a sore pelvic bone. 8)

I prefer the shorter trips during the "off" season and 7 to 10 days during the dry season. But when you get the "itch" you just have to go!

I'm usually about 14 days and it has been 5 to 6 times a year. I like to settle in a little.
