Interesting point in fact to your statement. The risk of a cerebrovascular accident (stroke) is increased at high altitude and increases with stressing the body. Point in fact our neighbor just came back from Colorado when he visited his grandkids. Had a stroke over there. All the medical workup was negative. I sent him to neuro and we both had to explein to him he prob wont have one again here in FL as it is sea level and his heart and carotid arteries were clean and minimal signs of PVD. Guess he is not going back to Denver.
