I have not seen anyone mention it so I'll go ahead and make the post. I was in SJO last weekend and ZB was about to complete the upstairs renovation/addition of four very nice hotel suites. Three are double rooms, one is a single. One double and the single have very nice balconies(party balconies) for entertaining; each double has one bed enclosed in a private bedroom; Every suite had what looked like king beds; their own shower/steam room/sauna combination with glass walls between so you always have a view into either; deluxe bathroom; bar; big TVs; etc. Oh, and my favorites feature were the huge, wood-framed wall mirrors in proper viewing position of most of the beds(beautiful). A lot of thought and planning went in to this. The first thing I thought when I toured was "man, this is not 'San Jose'." I would bet Eddie worked with an interior designer. Everything was planned with care and all the furniture and features are high-quality.

My understanding is that there will be an armed guard manning the front door at night and that you can bring girls back and have visitors so you are not captive. But, there are going to be other perks for hotel guests that want to enjoy more of everything ZB offers.

Put it this way, if the rooms were chicas, I'd Phuck em.

Apparently the deal will be $200/night plus $69/night if the wingman room is used. Includes unlimited $20 sessions. Very nice rooms, Eddie went all out.

In light of yesterday's incident, I hear that free helmets and flak jackets are now being offered along with each room...

While I appreciate the heads up about ZB, I'm waiting for the "official" announcement.

Particularly troubling is someone posting rates when the hotel itself hasn't even officially opened. I'm taking ScottKitt's post with a large grain of salt until I hear it from Eddie and/or Blue Coyote.

And I'm stating publically right now... I want one of the suites for July 4, 2007, my 50th birthday. If I have to arm wrestle a real tough guy such as Wit or Vegas Bob to get the room, I'll do it, even.

Yes, the rooms sho' 'nuff sound mighty fine. Can hardly wait for the real announcement.

I love ZB but at $200 per night I think the rooms are a little to nice for me.

Scottkit, I can confirm everything you said about the rooms and price. At least it is the same story that I got straight from Eddy about 2 weeks ago. The view from the Master is AWESOME and only $10/night more than the other rooms.

Yes. $20/hr if you are staying at the hotel. $40 for CRT vips if just visiting for a session.

I had heard the $200 a night price but didn't understand it to be an additional $69 if two people stay in the room. If it were only $200 a night for two people and you calculate two sessions each per day at ZB then your net cost for the room is really $60 each since you pay $40 instead of $80 for those two sessions. I've seen many a monger have two sessions at ZB in two hours so I would think two a day would be doable and a lot of fun. You could could have threesomes for $40. A net of $60 each is very reasonable, especially given how plush the rooms are. But $200 for one person or $269 for two makes the math a little more difficult.

Two guys at $270 (I rounded it up $1) is $135 each.
Two sessions at $40 is a $40 savings off the regular price of $80.
That means each guy is paying $95 a night.

Of course you're forced to have at least two sessions with ZB girls per day (or 1 session with two girls) to bring it down to that level.
