I have stayed at the Hotel Presidente for 4 years. I will no longer stay there due to their dress code. I guess I will stay at Marazon or Luna Blue. Let's boycott Presidente to force them into a better solution. Suggestion - a back door or no dress code after 10pm.

What do you-all think?

With all due respect.... This topic has been litteraly covered to Nauseum (SP) with no less than 5 different topics with probably close to 500 posts pros & cons.

I speak for myself only but I certainly am tired of the Prez bashing and the continued bringing up of this subject in various different categories. As stated its been covered...

If you don't want to stay there, don't stay there. They don't need our business AS I STILL can never get a room on the days I travel Thurs / Fri Saturday. If you do stay there Deal with it..

Sorry I'm cranky this AM I need to be elsewhere, but this topic being revisited again  will, I think it has been covered.

Think you should learn the correct name and spelling of any hotel you plan to stay at.

Agree with Capo. This has been beaten to death. Don't like the Presidente policy? GO ELSEWHERE and do it quietly. :(

He already said he was going to go elsewhere. Why does he need to do so quietly? The ELSEWHERE he ends up at is almost certain to suit his needs better so maybe he should have a blast from check-in til check-out, then come back here and give this elsewhere place a gleaming 4-star review. That would work just fine. 8)

Ok the guys are right this has been covered in the past and it got old fast.... But for the love of G*d its not like he has been here for five years, he is a newbie on the forum... let the dude be. He is just voicing his opinion. Dorado, next time just do a quick search and you will find plenty of talk about this.

Your idea of boycott wont fly because a) they really dont have to rely just on us and b) some guys actually like their policy even if they monger or get around it by bringing their own jackets and such for the girls to use to get in....

I personally agree go somewhere else and have fun doing it. Its all about our time and fun and I dont go to CR to have someone dictate what I do or why... which is why I am going to stay at SL.

As far as the guy's spelling of the above places... who cares, we all make spelling mistakes on this forum.

What do I think?

Oops, no "Yawn" emoticon

So Dorado, what can you tell me about Luna Blue? Word on the street is that it will rock, but that Luna Blue will also have a dress code. :P

I think that I have nothing to learn from someone who has been a part of this site for less than a month and with only 3 postings.

Don't appreciate newbies suggestion that we boycot something or something as established at this hotel.

I think I already pointed out that the boycott would not fly and that nobody was really crazy about the idea. I do disagree with the policy and therefore I wont be staying there. I am not voting for a boycott, mine is a personal choice as it should be for everyone.

To get on his case and say because he has only three postings that we cant learn from him or get on his case... well I guess you all started with over a thousand postings right away?

But then again the whole point is that each of you/us is entitled to their own opinion, even about each other on the forum.

Damn fellows! - Give me both barrels next time. Are you sure you don't want to reload?

There were some good points that are well taken by me. I feel pretty stupid.

Can't wait to meet you capo.

You guys are all right. It was just that Hotel Presidente was my family. I stayed there every 4 to 6 weeks for the last 4 or 5 years. The people who put the new rule into place hurt me. I shot from the hip without thinking it through.

I am sorry for wasting everyone's time.

The Presidente doesn't want or need the mongers any longer. They welcomed "our kind" when economics dictated the need. Now they are a "family friendly" (I like that expression) hotel. It is now the "rainy season" (the slowest time of the year) and you can't get a room at the hotel without plenty of notice. HOW ARE THEY DOING WITH THEIR DECISION? So as our illustrious poster,Mucho Gusto, often says about chicas thay aren't worth our time, NEXT!!!!! (and just one non- offensive comment to our new poster....check the headings before posting...this post should be under "hotels" instead of "girls review)

Heard at the News Cafe this past weekend that there was only one (1) vacant room. They were quite busy, the computers were always being used and many family types were around.
