I have been trying to use my FF miles from AM EX (Delta) for over four years. They never have anything open.

Xman, are you calling Delta? I have noticed it is impossible to get the 30K/35K seats on the web. If you call and ask what is available they can usually find something. Might not be when you want but saves the 35K miles you would otherwise have to use.

dapanz1,

When I can go and availablity have always been the problem. I always call Delta when I can't find anything on the web.

Thanks
Xman

Do they always issue a paper ticket when using miles? AA is issuing me a paper ticket to use on TACA. I prefer e-tickets, one less thing to forget.

No...I have an e-ticket with AA just like normal. I have the print out copy of the receipt hanging in my office as a daily reminder. This is my second semi-free flight to CR using miles. I almost have enough for another trip on my Capital One card also!!!! Pura Vida
