I read this statement a few time before going to CR I just did not understand.

This statement is so true. I just can’t get back into the swing of things since my trip

I was perfectly happy dating women my one age after my divorce. Now I find my self talking to, asking out women a lot younger then me. And they just look at me like is this guy for real. The thought of only having sex the 2 or 3 time’s a year that I will be in CR is really depressing. And the thought of give up mongering is even more depressing. Now I no why so many people move to CR. (don’t think that’s a possibility)

Will I get over this? Will I find women my own age appealing again? Or am I really plucked for life?

Don't worry, as the days go by, you'll find them more and more appealing, unless you can hold it until your next trip. CR is a fantasy, and you can't live a fantasy forever, sooner or later it will have to end. My advice, take it easy.

When I was at school after my first CR trip, I put post it notes on every girls door with their reccomended price. Didnt go over to well but whatever!

After, or during the 1st World War, I'm not sure which there was a popular song that contained the lyrics: "How ya gonna keep 'em down on the farm after they've seen Pari." (Paris).
The doughboys who had never been off the farm were exposed to the french girls who's refreshing outlook on sex was a far cry from the prudent girls of the day they had grown up with.
Anyway, once you've experienced Latin love, you are hooked. Don't fight it, just book as many flights as you can.

You got that right, but it also applies to non-gringas. The best thing I learned from our hobby is that I have other options, since then, I've been a different man, and it feels so damn good!

I'm not blaming society, nor am I blaming the women. However, I believe that the relationship game between us and tem will continue to deteriorate.

Women's changing role has them all confused. They don't know exactly what they want, although Madison Avenue has convinced them to "need" more and more consumer goods. Their fairly recent financial independence has cultivated a culture of greed among them, and their functioning in the workplace has hardened most of them.

Guys, as long as we play with "first-world" women, we're all phucked.

As more N. American influences take hold in Central America, the more attitude and greed problems we'll have with the Latinas. They watch TV too, and they really want what they see in the electric fishbowl; Lexus and BMW automobiles, fine perfumes, clothes, big houses, electronic doo-dads and blonde bebes.

But wait. There is an upside to the global spread of materialism through American TV. We've created a desire in the ticas for all that crap, and CR has given them an opportunity to acquire all those goodies. It's a choice that is probably difficult for them to resist - the Hotel Del Rey.

Now its up to us to be altruistic and donate our time and money to these young ladies, visit the HDR, allow them to earn enough for their cellphones, ipods and Escalades.

Having just returned last night from the land of plenty, I find myself lost in the sea of doubts, concerns, wishes, fantasies, desires that always follows the few days after returning to the real world that I find myself required to participate in.
Physically I could probably deal with the gringas my age or slightly younger, but I can't hack the demanding attitude they carry. When I meet one of them, I see the shopping checklist in their heads as they routinely ask the questions one at a time to determine if my wallet meets their plans and it makes me want to barf.
I met one latina gringa that wanted to get marrried and let the man handle the finances and tell her how much she could have to do with as she pleased and let him take care of the bills, savings, etc so she didn't have to deal with it. She was not a money hungry bitch and appreciated the things I did for her. I didn' t do them out of obligation but because I wanted to. Her attitude was that if she did her job in the bedroom, there would be no cheating on my part because she would use up all my sexual desire and energy. She did exactly that. when we were completely involved and planning the "m" word, she took care of my sexual needs so welll that I didn' t have any interest beyond looking at other women. I knew I had something better waiting on me. And it got better with time. After some unforeseeable circumstances led to some distance between us we tried to be friends and take care of each other's sexual needs but that lasted less than a year before she wanted to pursue someone for a permanent partner and didn' t want to continue the arrangement. I really couldn't argue the point with her. I just considered myself fortunate to have had as much good time with her as I did.
That set the mark pretty high for those women following behind her.
I have seen what it can be like and I don't want to settle for something less than I'm crazy about if I'm going to hookup with a lady for the big one.

I can't speak for anyone but myself but I know that since I first "crossed the line" to Latinas in 1997 I've never been the same nor have I ever looked back in regret.

I was just thinking about this last week: The last American woman I was with was 7 1/2 years ago. The oldest woman I've been with in the last 7 1/2 years was my 33 yr old Colombiana wife (I'm 52).

Yep, I'm pretty much spoiled.

Really nice thread here. Emotional stuff! I hate to say it that once I discovered Latin love my life changed forever at that moment ! It has been for the better no doubt about that. I have to really echo El Ciegos excellent post. Even though there are still some good Gringas out there it is still on a never ending downward spiral that keeps making new lows:( .

I believe it is better men find this type of option we have all experienced to better one's life & learn not to go crazy about it. Just incorporate it into your bag of options.

We all seem to talk about the dislike we have of hardened women whether it be gringa or hardened Latina putas. We should keep in mind this about our own behavior also. Once we experience Latin love we become more jaded & hardened also. Hardness never attracts much of anything good so learn to conceal this well. It is easy to develop an I DON"T HAVE TO PUT UP WITH YOU any longer attitude which hurts us back home. Just learn to keep things in there proper perspectives. I can tell you the women I am around all day (gringas) just hate men dating anyone 15-20 years younger period. You are a pervert in their eyes is what I hear them say?? Little do they know about the world & no one could ever reason this out with most is my guess.

Latinas may get a taste of our life style but as long as they are living in thier country they will never be as bad as the gringas are is my guess.
