Yep - I just talked to a tica and she said it's been raining pretty much all week. Dress/pack accordingly.

I always bring my umbrella to CR and when it breaks get anouther cheap one at Max or Menos or somewhere like that. Have a heck of a time keeping up with it though. Chicas seem to distract my attention.rbc100

I buy a cheap one each trip the first time I get caught in a downpour, then I leave it with the front desk on my way to the airport.

I was always of the opinion that those black umbrellas we buy from the street vendors downtown were one of the best values in Costa Rica.....costing like $2.00 ?? And they seem to be a decent umbrella. They're too big to fit in my suitcase, so I always leave them for the maid as a bonus propina. :)

buy the cheap umbrellas, I think in the 6 months i was there had about 10 of them, kept losing them or donating them to a chica leaving in the rain. cant go wrong on the price.

Damn! It looks like it's gonna rain all week!

We've been getting lots of rain in Chicago, more of the same for the next week. I will make sure to bring my raincoat and will purchase an umbrella upon my arrival in Costa Rica...

19 HOURS!! I don't know what do with myself until then, all packed and ready to go!!!

This is the first trip I will make that I don't plan on hitting the bars until closing time, so I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to get some sleep tonight. Good thing I have my Netflix movies, that should help me keep my mind off Costa Rica for while.

What time is it now?

I can't stand the waiting!!! The horror!! It's killing me!!

Not much rain this past week. Let's hope the 3000 CRT guys coming next week will have more of the same. lol Otherwise there will be a problem with all of you at ZB at the same time.
