311 used to be the previous owner's apartment, so it has a full kitchen, very good if you like or want to cook your own meals.

310 has a lot of space, a loft-style bedroom, huge wall windoows, and a large couch.

312 is also huge, is at the top of an additonal spiral staircase, and is probably the most "complete" package. It's the most popular penthouse room in te hotel, I think.

The 200-series "penthouse" rooms are more like junior suites and are relatively recent-build, very nice rooms.

The only one I've stayed in is 312. Nice room, but my chicas weren't thrilled with the stairs, lol.

+1

Some additional info:

There are 44 steps from the ground floor to 312. The best room in the house - awesome for orgies if you're into that :D - but unless you're in good shape once you climb those 4 stories you'll think twice about coming down again.

203, 202 and 201 are the "junior suites". They are actually better appointed than all the other penthouses (except for the aforementioned 312), in that they all have full sized jacuzzis plus a dry sauna inside the suite.

203 is the smallest (and darkest), 201 is by the train tracks, 202 faces the street leading down to SL.

310 and 311 face the train side. 312 will literally shake when a freight train comes by at speed.

never stayed in 310 but i believe you need to come down from the loft to use the restroom.
311 would be my choice out of the those two. kitchen w a large bar and sitting area. two bathrooms and even a standing urinal  idk 310 just seems an awkward layout.
neither 310/311 have jacuzzis like 312 and the other newer penthouses
the guys complaining about the stairs to 312 are the same ones that take taxis from hlh. that last flight can be an ass kicker. but a nice balcony and jacuzzi.

Is is a long walk and noisy
Should I take a non AC room in the 200 level?

Yes, in 310 only the bed is loft-style, gotta go down the spiral stairs to use the bathrom. Taking a leak in the middle of the night can be a little annoying :D At least it isn't pitch-black dark, since, unless things have changed in the few years since I stayed in that room, the whole room is bathed in a green glow from the REALLY bright exterior lights, even with the curtains shut on that 2-floor high wall of windows.

313 is a regular king or queen-bed room, it must be under the 312 penthouse, since 310 and 311 are on the same floor. I think I stayed in that room once or twice, never noticed anything coming from above, of course if a wild orgy is going on in 312 then it might be different. :D

313 is a closet at the top of the 312 staircase

As you reach the top of the spiral staircase to 312, the entrance to 313 is to your left. So it's next door to 312.

If you're in 312 you can hear 313's occupant. Don't know if they can hear you... :)

It's a small room, not a PH.

Maverick69, I would take 202 because it's large room with Jacuzzi and sauna, nice bed and large TV. Also, it's the first staircase as you walk in and you only have to go up 1 floor. So it's not a hassle going from your room to the lobby. And you can open all the 5 or so windows and get a nice breeze. The shower is big enough for at least 2.
