Who ever posted this is full of shi_. I just got off the phone with Continental. All fares listed including over the net were $513.00 & up. A far cry from $198.+ tax. In the future either get your facts straight or put your posts up when the sale happens. Other wise your wasting every ones time....
No, he's likely not (FOS) - when sales are posted for the airlines, unlike Sears adverising appliances, or Craftsmen tools,
not every seat on every flight, on any day you want to travel during the sale period is at the sale price. Just one of those quirks that make the airlines so annoying
So get the facts straight before you blast someone who is posting useful info
While he did come close to triggering one of my pet peeves - just quoting the "airline portion" of the fare - useless w/out the tax and fees added in; I truly could care less what American's take is; I'm much more concerned w/ what my total payment is, 'cause you are not boarding w/out paying the full price - he did post the price is around $300; close enough for government work, to use an old expression
Im coming in next week and all in on Spirit from FLL is $233 (Spirit being Spirit, its going to cost me an additional $40 r/t for baggage).
Avanti - if you
call the airline(s) you are unlikely to get the lowest price/best deal; its not the 1950's - we have this thing called the internet now
Its a fact - you need to go on line, and I've found the airlines own website to be the best - but not always (which is why you have 200 different fares on the same flight

) - so you need to check w/ Expedia, Priceline, Kayak and many more.
Also - and if you read my posts you will see I'm a fairly blunt guy too; also little paticence for fools - you could have expressed yourself a little better and been a little kinder - there are some on CRT that are full of shit - you will see this by perhaps your 10th post

- but not the OP in this thread; keep this in mind when responding to posts.
